So what veteran quarterback is Cleveland going to bring in midway through the season with Watson flames out?

Jayden Daniels learning the hard way that the NFL is much faster than NCAA.

Think he's going to be a decent NFL QB? I have my doubts.
Doubts are legit

Seems like he just needs to be put in the pressure cooker for a bit to me
Wants it more that most, and will work his ass off to see if he can possibly figure it all out.

Zero Day 1 rookies have it figured out, he went into the fire and got burned and was still battling.

Then he ain't gonna be a great NFL QB.
Not necessarily true at all. Russ was a great QB when he could use his legs. When he physically declined his ability to improvise went bye-bye and so did his career.

Nix can improvise and make plays, but the offense needs to be designed to move him around and get him in space.

But Russ could do both when he had to. Same with Lamar. The threat of the run can definitely lead to success and be dangerous, but if it's option 1 it generally doesn't pan out too well.

As a bears fan, I just want a quarterback who doesn't have to run 20 yards just to overthrow his receiver by 2 yards.

At least be a man and stand in the pocket if you're going to overthrow multiple receivers.

Russ was at his best improvising and in play action, but that was in large part because defenses had to account for his ability to break free and make shit happen. Russ was not an effective pocket passer early in his career without defenses biting on fakes to Marshawn.

Same thing could happen with Bo. If Denver plays to his strengths the rest can develop as his game evolves.

Dude played his first game as a rookie, so I’m not writing him off, but designing the offense around his current strengths will absolutely help him grow as an overall player.

Dallas with the clear best defense in the league right now hopefully they can keep this up.
Cleveland being on its fourth and fifth string tackles didn’t help that

don’t do this every single year man. Every single year the Cowboys are the “best in the league” after like two games.
This is the year!

That franchise’s issues with QB’s is genuinely amazing. Defies the odds.
