I'm watching Sherlock. The Benedict whatever one from 2010. Never appealed to me before but I'm really enjoying it.

It's Sherlock Holmes set in modern London. He's a right weird cunt and it's well done.

I'm sure someone said it already but slow horses is great.

It about a bunch of spies that fucked up in someway and get sent away to a shit department rather than fired.

Gary Oldman is one of the main characters and is probably my favourite spy ever.

They were kind of between a rock and a hard place, IMO.

While there were several fictional people, there were also numerous real people in it. Bullock, Swearingen, etc, all existed.

When Hearst really showed up in Deadwood, it was 1877. There was a giant fire that burnt a good portion of the town down in 1879 and a lot of the people that had lived there prior to the fire got up and left. Then the movie takes place ten years later in 1889. They completely shit the bed setting the movie that long after the end of the show when them rebuilding after the fire would've been a much better story.
