I was going to joke how no one lays a finger on his precious Jadyn, he's done nothing wrong! But on second thought, there's also no way in hell I'd let the current crop of so-called teachers discipline a kid. I have zero trust in their character.

Maybe a private school where parents, teachers, and administration were on the same page on acceptable behavior and the consequences of breaking the rules, I could support it. Then again the state would be on that like flies on shit and shut it down the second they caught wind of it.

The thing about canings in school is that its more about fear of being caned than the caning itself. The threat of it keeps the kids in line, especially when the headmaster is 15 stone. It's rarely dished out and it's more psychologically painful than physically painful.

I voted yes. Butthe major cavait is that I don't trust the teachers. Most of them are fuck wits. So I don't trust fuck wits to judge wether or not my kids deserve a canning.
On paper yes but in reality probably not. Unless it's acceptable for me to flog the teacher if they deserve it.

Agreed, its a different generation these days. When we got flogged, we deserved it. I don't know about these days.

They definitely can be. Mostly because they don't get hit.
1) I don't trust the teachers to deem what is and is not a canable offence these days.
2) I don't want my kids being taught by the stupid fucks these days much less getting hit by them, even if they deserve it.
I don't know if the teachers were much better back in the day but they certainly didn't openly appear as deranged as they do now.
I think they have always been liberal fucks and are to blame for how fucked things are in the world today.
I don't mind the concept of kids being physically disciplined.
I hate the idea of a fuckwit hitting my kid.

It's a hard one for me.
My solution would be to abolish Government schooling and make schooling non mandatory. Kids should be able to go to work with their parents as they used to be able to until the last 100 years or so. I guarantee most kids would learn way more and be way smarter if they skipped school entirely.

That's an excellent point. Although looking back on the teachers I had, I'm not sure they were all that much better back then. I encountered quite a few legit mentally ill teachers. We tried to get one of them fired when I was in 5th grade. We called it "Operation Webster Fire". A few of my best friends had her as their teacher, and she ran the after school talented and gifted program that I was in so we all witnessed her batshit crazy behavior. She'd lock herself in one of the supply closets in her class room and chain smoke while babbling nonsense to herself or some imaginary entity. Along with being unhinged, she was also physically abusive and a delusional, compulsive liar.

I mounted a tape recorder under her desk, after school. Some other kids brought them in as well. One kid had a video camera he brought in from home. She found one of the recording devices and immediately went on the offensive. This wasn't the first, second, or third time she was being accused of being unfit to be a teacher. I never got in trouble, but several of her students got in school and after school suspension. I'm I'm all for spanking, but she'd hurt kids and then lie about it. She ended up getting fired about 10 years later for breaking a kid's arm.

As a thought experiment, I can't imagine any situation where I'd be ok with a joe biden or kamala harris hitting my kids. Those people have been scum their entire life. The school system is rife with cunts like that.

All jokes aside though the only time a teacher ever laid a hand on me was Junior year, it was my history teacher and my wrestling coach. 4th period started and he quietly asked to see me in the hallway. I walked outside the room wondering wtf was going on , the halls were totally empty. He jacked me up into the lockers and started screaming so loud in my face that other teachers were looking out their classroom doors to see what the commotion was about.

It was because I disrespected him the previous day, I skipped his class because a majority of the school was doing a sit in over something stupid and I participated.

I deserved it and learned a lot about giving people the proper respect they deserve, especially for those that do so much for me. I was in a bad place and a very broken home, I was basically crashing at my girl friends house. That one incident has had such a positive impact on my life in so many ways that's it more than I could even begin to describe.

Today he would be fired and jailed.

Caning no, but tough love and come to jesus talks, I 100% support.
