Most people would have said Egypt and Saudi Arabia would have never accepted being on relatively peaceful terms with Israel. Now look. They don't have to be liked, they just have to demonstrate what fucking around results in over and over and over again until it finally sinks in.
Houthis might be the dumbest of the bunch, though. They just witnessed Hamas and Hezbollah get shitstomped into the sand while Iran, their great benefactor and protector, just sat in the corner and prayed to Allah that the smoke didn't come for them. So their bright idea is to start launching missiles. They're not going to goad Israel into taking their eye off the current operation, no more than Hezbollah was able to do so in October 2023. They'll have to wait their turn. And Iran won't help them any more than they helped their other assclown proxies.

I don't think Lebanon is in any position to step up to anything. Their situation mirrors Mexico and the cartel-controlled northern states. A failed state, but it's not politically convenient to say it outright. I doubt the Sunni and Christian Lebanese are shedding any tears over what's happening to Hezbollah.
I'm not familiar with Lebanon but I think it's fair to say that while America is backing Israel, Iran is not doing the same with Lebanon.
