Saleh apparently said he was completely blindsided by the firing. Woody Johnson walked in his office and let him go this morning with no warning.

It must be hard to be friends with a guy like Rodger. Its pretty crazy Cobb has been his boy for so long.

I obviously don't know them personally but it feels like a one sided friendship. Cobb goes to training camps and tell WRs what Rodgers likes to do while Rodgers goes on vacations during that time and then when him and the WRs don't connect its the WRs fault.

It's not like this season can be salvaged, the team just isn't that good

So let Brisset take his lumps while Maye continually (safely) develops

Ther was a report a few days ago by a podcaster that the Pats locker room was on the "verge of mutiny"
He since walked back those claims, but if there is truth in that, and the locker room is pissed at the offense .....Mayo might be trying to placate the locker room here

I think it's going to be a bad decision and Maye is going to look bad because he has no protection. Ghosts of Mac Jones

Eagles are releasing LB Devin White.

They signed him in the off season and he hasn't played a single game yet

I'm thinking what excuse does Rodgers have left after today? The defense is good. Saleh had that defense playing as an elite unit for the most part of him being there. What's bad is the offense. He has the OC he likes. He has his WR buddies. No one tells Rodgers no in that building.

When they lose who can say "it's not my fault"? Because it sure ain't Rodgers.

Rodgers throws 3 picks in a game with a 50-somethign passer rating....and he gets the HC fired

He has Lebron-itis. Has free run to do what he wants, fucks up with his undermining and personnel decisions that the team allows him to make....everyone else gets blamed.

In this situation he has zero authority over Hackett

Nothing new, Brady had say in his Offensive Coaches and plenty of QBs have more pull than the HC when it comes to some coaches

Saleh was not in charge of the whole team, that was clear when Hackett was signed and when he wasn't let go last year

If Saleh didn't know it might end up this way that is on him, he overplayed his hand

That is Saleh's HC stats, he didn't get them ready to play on gameday. Seems pretty clear.
