Lettuce, mizuna, bok/pak choi, mustard...anything leafy green works well. What do you motherfuckers like planting after cucumbers that take little/no amendments?
Beets?Lettuce, mizuna, bok/pak choi, mustard...anything leafy green works well.
I don't see why not, but I haven't grown beets in a minute. Just like other root crops they will need bone meal though, especially since the cucumbers ate up a lot of the nutrients.Beets?

One of my tabasco plants has a full flush of flowers right now. Should be interesting to see if I get Christmas peppers.Last of the peppers.View attachment 133070
Mine do too but there's just no way it's gonna happen. One of my tabasco plants has a full flush of flowers right now. Should be interesting to see if I get Christmas peppers.
My jalepeno plants died off one after another, but the serrano and tobasco plants are doing just fine. I"ve mentioned this before but I have one serrano plant that I accidentally overwintered and now it's 3 or 4 years old.Mine do too but there's just no way it's gonna happen.
I've never successfully overwintered pepper plants but I'm really gonna give it a go this time.
