Seems like most folks agree that this is a really dumb move. You got a younger QB playing his best ball and showing signs of legit improvement (but hes still got a ways to go) with his playing time and you elected stop that momentum to sit him.

Unless the team is rallying around Rus, and he’s really clicking with the ones, it’s a dumb move. I’d put the odds that he’s clicking with the ones at about 4%, and the odds the players are rallying around him at an even 0.0%
