Rutgers will play USCw Friday night. Kick-off is 11p eastern. Washington will play at Indiana Saturday morning at 9a pacific. Fucking moronic
Lincoln nor his staff have visited Mater Dei or St. John Bosco since last spring. Dude absolutely does not fucking care and 100% does not want to be the HC at USCw. The only other reasonable conclusion is Lincoln doesn't realize he's allowed to recruit.

My “favorite” Big Ten mess would be this: Oregon (loss to Illinois), Illinois (loss to Penn State), Penn State (loss to Ohio State), Ohio State (loss to Oregon) and Indiana (loss to Ohio State) all go 8-1. Five-way tie! Realistically Oregon hands the Illini their second loss this weekend, but you could still have a four-way tie that would go deep down the tiebreaker list because there’s no common conference opponent.
And now to the motherlode: I came up with an eight-way tie of SEC teams all finishing 6-2: Georgia (losses at Alabama and at Ole Miss), Alabama (losses at Vanderbilt and at Tennessee), Tennessee (losses at Arkansas and at Georgia), Texas (losses to Georgia and at Arkansas), Missouri (losses at Texas A&M and at Alabama), LSU (losses at Texas A&M and vs. Alabama), Texas A&M (losses at South Carolina and vs. Texas) and Ole Miss (losses vs. Kentucky and at LSU).

I can't get behind this at all BUT it would be fascinating to watch.
For sure there is almost 0% chance it happens but the fact that it's this late in the season and still possible is ridiculous.

For sure because adding these two teams have not really benefited the existing members. Nothing substantial, they were going to sell out their games anyway. The slice each team received has stayed the same.

Interesting tidbit last night from the SEC network. They left out the trash throwing incident from SEC inside last night. A poster on On3 said they're now state run media. 😂
They run a lot of the media. At least the ones that mattered for so long. The SEC won't tolerate their shit like the other conferences in the past (this is my hope). I can definitely see Texas losing on the road at DWR. It wouldn’t matter if we were 0-9 going into that game, the stadium will be at capacity and the old dogs will bring the hatred. Most of us younger hog fans weren’t around for the Texas rivalry but in recent years it’s been returning and the hogs have been winning.
Riley not visiting Mater or Bosco is amazing, especially with your territory now opened up to Ohio State, Michigan, etc.
You would think this could give USC the out they want. Wording in contracts can be vague but his actions don't seem to align with a guy making 12ish a year.
His buyout is rumored to be around 90 million, and if SC tried to skirt around it lawsuits would fly like confetti.

Eventually all of the ADs and school presidents have to agree to 1) cut back on extensions just because a coach has one double digit winning season 2) cut back on the buy-outs for low performing coaches 3) include language that gives them a reasonable out for coaches that aren't even attempting to win at a high level
There definitely needs to be a restructured model at some point. Buyouts tied in with performance metrics at minimum.
Generally speaking, college football is a fucking mess.
Here's a look inside one of the most profitable athletic departments in the country. The division between the haves and have-nots in college sports will grow in the next decade. If the B10 and SEC finalize am agreement for their most popular schools to play each other more, where will that leave the 2nd-tier SEC teams like Texas A&M? I hope they will be okay.
