That would be a good point if Mahomes didn't also get to have more free plays then most other QBs because refs eat their whistles when it's narrative QBs like Mahomes.

It's a bullshit move. He knows he's protected and the defense is going to lay off. So when they peel off pursuit he cuts back in for 15 extra yards.

Fuck that. If I'm going to give up 15 yards I'm fine with it being via penalty by knocking that poof into next week.

Honestly the only flag I remember on a late sideline hit on Mahomes was in the Cincinatti game.

THat's the most memorable one, because it handed the Chiefs an AFC championship and was total bullshit.

I just watched that one, and Mahomes was a full yard OB when he was pushed. It's a shame, because that Cincy LB played great all game for it to come down to that.
