I’m holding it thru the election. Haven’t sold a share. I think it hits $50/share. I’m not even sure we’ve seen the shorts start to get squeezed yet. This run feels like people buying in anticipation of him winning.
I’m talking about the run from $11.80 to $46 thats occurred over the past 30-45 days. To me, that’s people buying in anticipation of him winning + the meme stock crowd seeing the float that’s shorted & jumping in.
It hit $80 back in March
Can you imagine the amount of reeeeee from Lib investors who shorted the stock due to their TDS?

I might have to cancel my sell limit order before market open.
I had my 45 shares set to trigger at exactly 47% profit.
The math was like $48 something / share based on when I got in. (April)
I can always do a stop loss order to achieve the same 45/47 target.
I was thinking $50/share by Election Day. It's possible that this thing goes to $60 by then. I think today may have been the start of shorts getting squeezed. $100/share possible by Thanksgiving? Never know.
Cancelled it. I'll put it back in as a stop loss after open tomorrow so I can hit my 45 shares at 47%.

I'm in for 730 shares with a profit of $25,600 as of market close today. By far my most lucrative single investment ever. Not sure what stop loss I want to set, or when I want to sell. My gut tells me this thing continues to fly thru at least mid-Nov.

Yeah. I'd def throw in a stop loss. It's volatile as hell. I don't think they even make anything so it's basically a meme stonk. Which I love because that pisses the libs off even more.

Tough call. But I'd probably set half at a stop loss. That locks in some profit and keeps the chance alive for future gains.
What you don't want to have happen is a tank and you are left with nothing - nor do you want a dip that triggers your sell and then have the stock immediately take off again and you miss out on those gains.
You had the balls to make a big play and it paid off nicely. At this point I'd try to protect some profit and keep the possibility for making more if it moonshots.
That's how I played it on our epic RFP run.

I just saw it go from $50 to $12 in a matter of weeks, and decided to take a chance it would go up. I was thinking make 15% or something...not 300% lol. Dumb luck. I'll tell ya this though. When I do cash out on DJT, I'm investing that $ into RUM (Rumble) if it hasn't already boomed by then. I think that stock is being manipulated too.

If I'm you I monitor it and update that stop loss higher as the stock climbs. Picking the percent pullback that triggers the sale is the tricky part. Typically I set it at 10%, but with a volatile stock like this you may want it to be higher. Like 15%. This thing has been a rocket. As shorts exit, it will stay strong. But there will be profit takers as well.
if it pulls back 10% - which eventually it certainly will - that could trigger a sell off that quickly becomes a 30% sell off. Or it could trigger people to figure it's a good time to jump in and then up we go again.
Volatile stocks like this are a lot of fun.
