THose kind of coaches never last long. There's always an initial bump in morale and maybe performance, especially when an unpopular coach gets fired mid season, but after a while it tanks because they're usually just not very good coaches

Jeff Saturday, lol

This.

You can't have a bunch of idiot players select their HC because he's 'cool' lol.

experience matters

even some guys who have been around the league for 40 years struggle with HC game managing decisions and player relationships(Fangio)

Pierce might end up being a good HC but right now he isn't there

I thought that about Josh McDaniels after his first stint in Denver failed. BUt nope, He's just a lousy head coach.

Broncos kind of need a reliable WR who can get open but I don't think they want anybody to ruffle the locker room with diva drama
Higgins is needing a new contract? If so probably 20 mill per year or so right?
Seems cheap for Higgins, idk. He's a solid receiver.

It does seem reasonable but I don't really know what he is asking for, probably a ton of guaranteed and probably higher than 20 mil. Not sure if he is similar to some of the younger bronco prospect WRs, they have a deep WR room but none of them are very established.

Sutton is good but he can't separate and is pretty damn slow, he is huge and strong mostly.
Josh Reynolds got shot in the head at 3am strip club
rest of the wrs are super young draft picks or practice squad come ups

Seems like a solid young veteran would be good for their pass game

Broncos need a TE as well, not sure if any of those are available though. Worst Tight end production in the league until last game. Dulcich seems like a bust because he can't block.

I'd just cut him now.

Not even wait until the end of the game, tell him to hit the showers, grab your shit and go home.

Holy crap, didn't realize that was Corley who was already struggling to get playing time, and having his work ethic and maturity being questioned.

Malachi Corley, rookie WR from W. Kentucky

He hasn't seen the field much, and been a healthy scratch most the season.

“I was a big fan of Malachi in college and did some work on him, peeking through cross-references with quarterbacks, things like that,” Downing told reporters on Thursday. “He’s a dynamic guy with the ball in his hands. I think he’s maturing and understanding that this game is a profession and that it isn’t like college, where you show up and you’re the best guy on the team, and things always go your way. And I think it’s been great to watch him handle that maturation process by leaning on some veterans and getting some advice from them.”
