It’s pretty crazy. He was the leading tackler and play caller for the D.

I don’t know anything more than Macdonald wants Jones at that spot, so maybe they let Dodson go to pursue other opportunities rather than sit on the bench. The LB’s haven’t performed as a whole, so with Jones moving to the middle they’ll get more of a look at Knight on the outside, who they’re high on.
Got it. This just seems like a weird message to send a locker room. Put up numbers and you can still lose your job at any time to some new guy. I do think Jones is very good but this feels like a "scheme over talent" type of decision making. I feel like there was a chance to find room for both on this defense over just cutting Dodson.

Guess we just gotta wait to see how this plays out.

Sounds like some off the field stuff surfaced and they don't wanna wait and want to distance themselves asap.

I mean he wasn’t playing very well, especially against the run, but I agree it’s strange.

I wonder if they could lower a shade on any of those windows only when beneficial to their offense or defense? Seems like it could be illegal but this is a unique and rare stupid stadium feature.
Kind of like the giants opening the doors at the end of the old Giants stadium whenever an opposing team was kicking a field goal at that end to let in the crosswinds

if the Pats did something like that, it would be some sort of “gate”

oh don't play Pats as a Victim lol, it doesn't work

I didn't know about the giants doors, wonder how many times they did it? Lots of tricky winds in some of these stadiums for sure.

Yeah it would be messed up to rise and lower blinders when you have the ball vs when you don't but Dallas 100% has the ability to cover them up.

I love natural light in a building but they went a bit overboard and might want to tone it down depending upon game conditions. For the benefit of both teams.
