If you don't want companies involved.in politics, don't regulate them. If you're in a heavily regulated industry, you're going to constantly have attorneys and lobbyist involved. No company wants that expense but you don't really have a choice.

Seems like the pro CEO crowd equates them with say a plumber who worked hard and created a thriving small to medium sized business of it. CEOs of billion dollar global corporations are not that. Not even close.

Again... no CEO ever fucked me.

I'm not going to sit here and hate people who have done nothing to me.

I am not an envious man either. They have more than me. Okay. I don't care. That doesn't mean I'm gonna dislike them or anyone else.

However, I absolutely WILL continue to hate the people who stripped my healthcare and take my hard earned money under threat of force, fines, imprisonment and seizure of my home and land.

THOSE PEOPLE have fucked me and continue to fuck me every single day of my life.

Government.

Then why did so many lobby against it?
They weren't lobbying against it, they were lobbying for a better cut of it. And if you think the Democrats are republicans are actually fighting against each other in DC, and not working on ways to fuck us over at every given opportunity, while keeping their moron supporters duped, I have some ocean front property in Nebraska you might be interested in. Politics is theater for the slave classes.

Doesn't have anything to do with what they have. The average CEO is as big a piece of shit as any of the worst politicians we have. I'm not sure how you don't see it.

People drastically misunderstand the roll of a CEO and his/her ability.

Nobody believes they can do open heart surgery or represent a defendant in a murder trial, but everyone believes they could run Microsoft or Apple.

It takes a tremendous amount of experience and special leadership qualities to successfully run a large organization.
It mostly takes going to the right schools and knowing the right people. A multi billion, even multi million, dollar company is going to have bureaucracy that rivals any government department.

The average person doesn't think they can do heart surgery because they know a heart surgeon goes through like 15 years or training in that field. A CEO doesn't have a field.

All they typically need is an MBA and a sociopathic mindset.

Because it's not them fucking me.

I've got a gigantic cock being forced up my ass every day. And when I turn my head to see who, it's always government.

To a decent sized company? Lol they probably have a thousand people working for them with MBAs and lots of sociopaths. MBA is the most common post graduate degree now.

I don't think you understand how competitive getting to that spot is.

Lots (maybe the majority) get networked in but holy fuck the guys who work their way in competitively holy shit that's a hard fucking road and you have to be a massive superstar and winner to get there (and a bit of luck of course).

Even getting networked in is a lot of work, these guys basically have to build these networks while probably working 60 hour weeks trying to get shit done in their jobs as well.

Navigating the politics and bureaucracy in a corporation and being able to get stuff done in that imperfect environment takes serious skills.

You need to know everyone's motivation (internal, external), you need to know how to get something done, you need to know who can get it done and with what, you need to have really really solid intuition because you're constantly making decisions with minimal (or no) data. Look at Jaguar... I don't know if that was a board level decision or CEO level decision and what their involvement was but that's the type of thing we are dealing with.. deciding to park manufacturing for a couple years, switch over early to all EV lineup, consolidate the lineup, aim for higher end buyer lower higher profits sales. We will see what happens but that CEO might have tanked that brand to the point where it's worth next to nothing and has to get sold off (or likewise maybe he saved it). No guy working the line at some plant can have that level of influence and impact on profits and revenue in that company.
