If we're being objectively honest Day lost that Michigan game due to his own ego. He kept hearing Michigan and the talking heads yapping about the team that runs for the most yards wins. He basically played right into Michigans hands and didn't take advantage of his superior offensive weapons.
They lost game. Coaching is a variable that decides wins or losses like anything else.

We see it all the time. Bama beat Georgia, then went on got sat down by Vanderbilt of all teams. Fucking roller coaster on a week to week basis.

One thing that was definitely weird at tOSU game last night was the absence of students. It's usually a zoo of parties outside student housing. Walking to the stadium last night (around 5 pm) it was a fucking ghost town because the students are on Christmas break and class isn't in session. It almost felt eerie, especially for such a big game.

If they truly want these first games to be "home field" they might need to move these games up a bit. Maybe start the season earlier? I don't know - but I've seen tailgates for games against Akron that were way more raucous.

It really is crazy how Penn St and the whorns somehow ended up with this draw.
I haven't really paid too much attention to the bracket because I'm still stewing from the TTUN loss, but yeah this seeding is jacked.

Penn State beats SMU then gets to play Boise State - basically a cake walk to the Semi-Finals. Boise State got a bye and they are a team with tight games (1 score wins) against UNLV (29-24), Nevada (28-21) and Wyoming (17-13). Yawn.

This years version of the playoffs was put together by the same people who support DEI.

Ohio State's 4 star QB Air Noland entered the portal. Got tired of being buried in the depth chart. True Freshman.

Rumors are he's headed to South Carolina.

Yeah that makes zero sense. Miss State might be a good spot.
