Steelers usually have a good December / end of season. The collapse started a month early this year

Even if Muth makes that catch they lose. The clock would have run out.
I was thinking that too but it was odd the commentators weren’t saying anything to that effect. Unless he had a free lane across to out of bounds.

This reminds me of the time early in his coaching career that Tomlin said the Steelers were going to bring hell in December - they proceeded to lose 4 straight. He sucks.

That type of pre and post snap processing was exactly why Sean Payton decided to ditch Russ, he didn't want to be part of it for another 2-3 years.

I wish Russ the best but he really is bad at situational football and is a 2 read QB at best

He never would have made it across the field in time. Would have got tackled in play.

Any Ravens fans here?

I'm just hoping to see some smash mouth football as these teams usually produce.

GO STEELERS!!

I think Pitt needs to play Fields a lot tonight.
This Russ stuff is painful to watch, it hurts the run game big time.

If Tomlin really has the heaviest set then he should have no problem switching back to get a W.

Several hours away from the Steelers chance at redemption. A win here makes the 4 game skid near-inconsequential. A loss here puts an exclamation point at the worst slide in franchise history.

I am also coming to the thread to give a sincere apology and ask for forgiveness. Forgive me my fellow Steelers fans:

I always let my beard grow from November 1 on and only shave it once the Steelers are eliminated from going forward. I went to the chick that always cuts my hair (she cuts mine and my two sons and has for years) and she hates beards. She always trims me up but comments about how clean-shaven is the right way to go. Well she trimmed SO much that when I got home my beard was so “light” that I just shaved it to a goatee.

Fast forward to Thursday and the wife says “Are the Steelers out of the playoffs already?” I said “No, the first round is Saturday”. She replies “Well, you shaved like a month ago, I figured they were out”.

I checked the date of the haircut and shave it was 12/13.

So not only am I obviously hoping the Steelers win today, but I will also hope to absolve myself from contributing to the worst slide EVER for this team.🤣😂

Let’s get this W!!

No game against them is easy. I don’t know that the Steelers have blown the Ravens out. They (Steelers) have more wins (especially in the last 10 and in the playoffs) but I only remember the Ravens winning blowouts.

I get that and agree

My question is...

Russ or Fields? or Both?

I hope to see both. Lots of Fields inside the 30
I felt like he was gonna go Fields in the second half last week.
Hope he gets a drive or two to himself today to see if he can find rhythm because I don't think Russ is in rhythm unless Pickens is grabbing balls in double coverage
