I saw a thing on FB this morning that WWE is supposedly bringing D'Amore in to be head creative over NXT with Trips & HBK run Raw & SD.
Dunno if it's true, though.

Would be a great move. He’s been focusing on his Canadian promotion while riding out his non-compete. I didn’t know that he and his family are pretty wealthy from real estate and construction. Just loves the wrestling business.

And with a lot of TNA talent either headed to NXT now or when their contracts run out (Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, speculation is Josh Alexander is going, Moose supposedly wants Grace to get him an 'in' if she can, etc) it would also be a great fit as they all seem to love D'Amore. A *bunch* of them (Grace being among them, as I understand it) wrote a letter to anthem telling them to bring him back after they parted ways.

This is the biggest problem with AEW... there is no psychology to the card as a whole. Great fucking matches in a vacuum, but the individual parts don't enhance the whole.

There was something in my recommendations on snapchat with a head shot of him and the headline, WWE's newest star. My first thought was they're already pushing him as a star and building interest. They were pushed in AEW but just seemed to popped up randomly.
They really only ever got pushed to ultimately lose to the Cucamonga Cucks.
It really seemed like they were on the roster solely because they could do the Cucks style of match with them.

The LAST thing I want is Penta being wrapped up in the LWO or Legado del Fantasma. LWO hasn't been much more than a bunch of lackeys to Rey and Legado hasn't meant anything since Santos turned heel.
NJPW suspended one of their English commentators for negative comments he made about AEW during the New Years show. Guess he called TK a “money mark” 😂and questioned what Ospreay, Omega and The Bucks have accomplished since leaving Japan. Guess he went into business for himself trying to build the NJPW/AEW rivalry.
We've seen those before, but the promos about how Buddy/Brody "don't need a leader" tends to make folk believe its for real this time.
Malakai got lost in the AEW shuffle. Was a decent gimmick they had going with Julia Hart too. She and Brody should do well and Ospreay put a lot of shine on Buddy.

He definitely got lost in the shuffle in AEW, along with a bajillion other people. It didn't help that his "supernatural" type trio wasn't the first one there, given that Dark Order already had that gimmick.
And if he goes back to WWE and still tries to have that kinda gimmick, it'll again be "another" given that the Wyatts are already a supernatural faction.
I think Trips would likely book him better, but he'll need some kinda gimmick refresh for crowds to care, IMO.

Darby is a good call... but he also isn't going to draw as a main eventer. He's just there for the moments where he tries to kill himself. He got the rub of Sting's entire retirement run and went out and got hit by a bus instead of getting a good program out of it.

Cardona told Ariel Helwani today that after the full AEW run he never got a job offer, so any reports that he did was wrong.
So no offers from AEW or WWE, but he seems willing to join either.
