Not interested in all that shit.
I just want a good Fridge like the old days.
Fridge up top and freezer down below.

Been checking them out and all the nice ones are "SMART" and have Ice makers, fuck all that shit.

How the fuck does a guy find a normal fridge nowadays?

Smart features are always worthless gimmicks used to lure people into spending more than they need to. My big gripe is water saving features on washing machines. Where the top of your clothes never get wet. Asshole engineers making things difficult.

I don't want to run plumbing to the fridge, not convenient at all.

When I find a nice new fridge it usually has ice maker and is "smart", I don't need either.

I just want a cool new fridge with a quality build and no bells or whistles.

Price not a factor.

We bought a house and the fridge has all the bells and whistles…even an Alexa built-in. I’m just not sure what to do with all the WiFi stuff (it’s not connected). Other than that - it’s a good fridge.

I like larger capacity, but I think this is what you're referring to, no?

Also, if you lift up the lever for any given ice maker, it doesn't use energy attempting to make ice (considering you wouldn't connect a water supply). Not applicable to that link since I don't think that has an ice maker.

It is odd how the number of people who have icemakers that aren't hooked up, and don't work, is kinda staggering.

Like it outnumbers the people with working icemakers. Maybe I only know trashy people...but a few got serious money, and no working icemaker.

I went through a few recently, cameras on the inside and out, unreal.
I settled on an LG that you knock on the window and it lights up so you can see what's in it.
It's handy at night.

I also have this but use it for seeds/meds and stuff.
