You would need to convince a jury that a reasonable person would feel that they were being threatened with death and defilement. Is there any reasoning as to why that particular threat may be assumed from a pig's head near a mosque?

Im not sure that there is, if we have a society that is largely (or to some extent) resistant to a certain faith do the members of that faith feel free to practice it? Not disagreeing with you just asking the question. Imagine being a law abiding muslim father whos family integrate into their new country and then having to explain to your child why people are throwing pigs heads at your place of worship.
For a lot of people having their kids follow their faith is extremely important and often a requirement of the faith itself, now you have kids that look different from those around them, are possibly learning a new language and trying their best to fit in and there is a perceived undercurrent of hate towards their parent's belief system among a large portion of the broader society making their child feel further alienated from their peers and in a way pressuring them to move away from their parent's faith.
Im not sure that is religious freedom, maybe it is Im just not sure.

Being resistant to or not liking a certain faith is very very different than preventing someone to practice their religion. If you get pressured away from your faith, maybe you were just paying it lip service to begun with? I'm America you are free to practice your religion, you aren't free to make people accept and agree with it though.

No, I do not believe in the right of free worship. Not at all. If you want to worship, I have absolutely no problem with it but do it in private on your own time. Don't expect anyone else to pamper to you.
If someone physically stops you, that's assault. You don't need additional made up laws for your superstition. It could be treated as a hate crime. That should be more than adequate.
