It’s pretty telling when all other (I think??) AEW crossovers have been allowed to keep their names.
Off the top of my head, Cody, Jade, & Ethan Page kept their names.
Brian Pillman Jr became "Lexus King" (gawd, what a retarded name lol).
Bea Priestley (who was that on the indies prior to AEW) became "Blair Davenport", but just got released and is now back to Bea Priestley.
Pentagon became "Penta", but he's had name issues and changed it a lot for various reasons going all the way back to Lucha Underground.
And now Ricky Starks (who was that on the indies & NWA before AEW) is now Ricky Saints.

Rock gonna be at Smackdown, probably to announce NOLA getting a Wrestlemania in NOLA, but also he's threatening some sort of storyline I guess...I dunno, who knows what they plan on doing with him at this point, I'm not sure even they know what he's going to do.
Bloodline and Cody are played out. I’d actually like to see Rock/KO or Rock/Drew just for the promos instead of KO/Zayn for the tenth time. KO/Zayn is like that couple that break up and get back together constantly.
I'd like Rock to just go away and stay gone.

I think I said this earlier in the thread, but I saw somewhere that the reason he (Solo) got the big push he did was Roman was apparently pushing for it backstage. He never had "it" and the entire thing was a waste. Fatu is soooo much better than Solo that Solo won't even be a mid-card act by the time that program is done.

Yeah, I don't think they'll turn Cody heel, I think they are just teasing it and giving him a crisis of the moment type of thing.
He's on the Cena route. Kids love him, he moves tons of merch, he does the Make-a-Wishes and all that...you turn him heel and you kill that cash cow. And there's no reason to do so while he's still on top and moving merch.
