Aaron Rodgers would prefer to play for the Los Angeles Rams if the team moves on from Matthew Stafford.

Rodgers would bring Davante Adams with him once the Jets WR becomes a free agent in this scenario.

Via the New York Daily News reporter Pat Leonard.

lol why the hell would the rams go older.

Rodgers will be half the price and they can get a first round pick for Stafford
Both Stafford and Rodgers have about 2 years left

That is my take

I'm not hip with the emoji slang so I had to google "blue hat"

"lie" is what popped up.

this was shortly after the Bengals said this:

So who knows? I get so annoyed from passive aggressive shit from these dudes. But I'm guessing he's miffed that they are dealing with Chase first - and he's probably also miffed about the franchise tag again.

i wish someone would "insult" me with $48,016,000 over the course of 2 years, of which I missed 25% of the games.

Having a SB ring would more than offset a few mill to keep Higgins on the line...

Then you could do retarded State Farm commercials to make it up...

It's said that Brady accepted lower wages than he could have pushed for during his career with the Patriots in order to play with a more talented roster.

I understand players wanting to get paid given that the NFL is basically a money printing machine, but it's strange to me that a QB would push for a record contract rather than take maybe $30 million per year in order to be more successful. I mean once you're being paid that much, how much difference does an extra $20-30 million really make? Do you really need two luxury yachts?

If I were Joe, I would be talking to EVERYONE... to cut money to build up the O and D to make a SB run...then everybody would be paid.

If Chase is the only person being paid, no SB...

Think of it from any other players perspective though... why should they take less money only so Chase, Burrow, and Hendrickson can have top contracts at their positions?

The NFL is a business... a business where teams can cut your ass at any time and the average career is 3 seasons.

Brady once re-negotiated his contract to take less so that Patriots could afford to re-sign Deion Branch, who at the time, was one of Brady's favorite targets. And then the Pats let him walk anyway and picked up Reche Caldwell. Brady was PISSED apparently. BUt yeah, he took less than he could have gotten throughout his career, he never needed to be the highest paid QB in the league, winning superbowls was more important.

I think some of it was also his belief in himself having longevity.

If you set out to play until you're 40, making $5m less a year is acceptable knowing your getting like 8 more years than your peers.

Football now is also different with that regard... teams are far less patient these days. A down year and your ass can be gone.

I like Graham as a prospect but I have a hard time taking an undersized DT in the top 5 as Size/Length is a great predictor of success at the next level for DT. Top 15 sure, top 5 no.

Legendary QB Dan Marino says that he would have won multiple Super Bowls if he was drafted by his hometown team, the Pittsburgh Steelers:

“Well, looking back at their teams, I’d probably have won a couple of Super Bowls. I really do, because of the defense they had."

Hard to argue that, you can add "some semblance of a run game" to that too.

The only 1,000 yard rusher Marino ever played with in Miami was Karim Abdul-Jabbar (not the basketball one lol). He only once (just) passed 1,000 yards in a season, at 3.6 yards per attempt, indeed he never came close to averaging 4 yards per attempt in his career.

Some years it felt like Dan was carrying the team entirely on his back.

Stafford could do well on current lions team. That would be interesting lol.
Stafford is an amazing QB

AFC had inferior rosters for the most part for a good decade and a half, Broncos were also mainly carried by a QB
Usually the AFC met a far superior roster in the Super Bowl and got a reality check

Dan was an amazing passer, on a good/great roster no doubt he would have at least been in more super bowls.
