Incredible stat:

This is the first time in history that a QB with his college number retired has not been drafted in the first round.

or second round…

or third round…

I feel like he blew it with a few interviews with teams he didn't want to go to and word got around that he was truly as entitled as some speculated. Word spread and teams went for other QBs and don't want a backup with Drama attached.

Really expected KC to go Sanders there...

Its obviously time to start looking for Mahomes' replacement.
Nah. I want them to suck for 3 or 4 years before they give up on the puff.

Humble Pie being served to the Sanders family right now.

I don't think it's malicious though.

Looking at his game tape, it's laughable to even suggest he was Rnd 1 talent. If he wasn't Deion's kid he's probably a UFA fighting for a spot on a practice squad so teams can prep for running QBs with dogshit accuracy.

I got that honest in me, too, yo.

It's gotta be the baggage sanders brings, I wonder how arrogant he was in interviews.

Then add deion calling you everyday, lmao
There was that one assistant coach that said it was the worst player interview he ever saw.

“One longtime NFL assistant coach said his time with Sanders was "the worst formal interview I've ever been in in my life. He's so entitled. He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has horrible body language. He blames teammates. ... But the biggest thing is, he's not that good."

It’s been an amazing display of the SmackDown of hubris and recognizing manufactured “talent” level

same thing NBA teams should’ve done to Bronny James, but even Bronny doesn’t seem to be as big a twat as Shedeur apparently is

He's not really a running QB, and if there's one trait that Sanders does have, it's accuracy.
Every highlight I saw was a poorly thrown ball that Hunter made some amazing play on.

Agreed - running is probably the wrong way to describe him. I didn't mean like a 2-way threat like Lamar. I was speaking more to being "elusive" in the pocket. But I didn't watch much (any?) Colorado football. And you are right - now that I'm watching more film on him - he sucks in the pocket too. I guess I assumed that some of his dad's athleticism wore off on him.

I don’t think he’s a horrible QB. My comparison would be Jameis Winston. But I think he has a horrible attitude, is entitled, has had things handed to him by his dad….and teams don’t want to deal with it.

I can only imagine the arrogance and entitlement he displayed.
His attitude probably has a lot to do with the drop - but if his skills were what some say they are he would have been drafted by now.

It's sort of the Kaepernick scenario all over again. Ray Rice. The skills aren't so high that it makes the headache worth it.

Mel Kiper's meltdown of being so wrong on him is fucking hilarious.

Kiper, race baiting Ryan Clark, and ESPN have lost all credibility at this point. How they’ve acted during this whole thing is fucking embarrassing.

When highlights make you go..."that wasn't a good throw" it makes me scratch my head.

I said the same thing with Johnny Football.

I might be wrong. I don't have any hate for the dude as I don't know much about him.
But the slide doesn't surprise me.

Well - the slide from Day 1 doesn't surprise me. I'm surprised he's going to be a Day 3 guy.
