Actually....
It's a NWO type cover up for world domination and it's been humans this whole time doing everything!
couldn't... stop... myself.
I fucking read the spoiler.

some kind of project bluebeam-like scenario?

watched the first episode last night & it didn't seem too bad.

still plenty of time to get 'LOST®' though.

looks like a project bluebeam type scenario so far (no spoiler, explained within the first 5-10 minutes IIRC).

if you go back and watch some of the old seasons of the x files there has always been some corny shit going on.there is some episodes that are classics and some that were monster of the week. i always liked the govt conspiracy hybrid human/alien story lines better than the ones where they went off to some small town where something weird was happening and solved it in one episode.
i think they are trying to cram a lot of things into 9 episodes and im not sure where it is going but i like it so far.it is kinda weird that they are following a story line where mulder and skully have a kid together but the show is weird anyways so i dont even care

I never watched all of the original episodes. Is the fact they have a kid news? Or was it something that actually happened on the old show?

William Scully (upon adoption: Van De Kamp) was the son of Dana Scully and Fox Mulder. In 2002, he was adopted Mr. Van De Kamp andMrs. Van De Kamp. (TXF: "William").

A surname for this non-speaking character has never been outrightly established. Likewise, the possibility that Mulder is William's biological father is never established on screen (though Mulder's paternal parentage of William has been admitted numerous times off screen) and it is only ever suggested, but their relationship, as it is portrayed in episodes of The X-Files, can nevertheless be said to be that of father and son, whether they are biologically related or not. Executive producer Frank Spotnitz, when asked about William's origin at New York Comic-Con 2008, confirmed that William's father was indeed Fox Mulder. However, Scully most likely used her own last name for William. As of the release of The X-Files: I Want to Believe, William's paternity has been confirmed to be Mulder.
