ROUND ONE: Is SHAOLIN the ref? Reis dwarfs Ortiz. They come out hopping all over the place, and I remember this is a flyweight fight. I might need to ignore the fight and throw a load of laundry in. Rogan says what I said, only pretends it's fun. In fact, a minute has transpired, nothing has happened, and I'm typing while dreaming of Taco Bell. Reis with an inside leg kick. They clinch and trade, Ortiz with a right hand over the top. The pitter-patter of little feet on the mat sounds like a child playing Whack-A-Mole. 3:00 left. Reis with a leg kick, Ortiz responds with a body kick. Reis throws 12 fast punches, lands zero, then tries a takedown off the air assault. He finally gets the trip to Ortiz's back, who stands right back up, and Reis lands a right hand on the break. 90 seconds left. They seem to both be impersonating Mighty Mouse, hopping and feinting like crazy. Reis with a nice right hand, then kick to the body. Ortiz lands to the body in return. More hopping and missed strikes. Ortiz lands a hard knee on a failed takedown from SANDIEGOREISBRO. 30 seconds left, Ortiz shoots, fails, gets his back taken standing. Ortiz with a takedown one second before the round ends.
