I MAY get a new car later this year. This post is to bump in the event I do. I'm frothing at the gash just thinking about it
I went from being a car guy when I was single, to not giving a fuck after I got married. I drive a 2005 Dodge Ram with 113k miles and the inside of it looks like a trash dump.
Hey them rams are good shit. I'm from Europe so naturally when I moved here I thought pickups were stupid. But they have grown on me, I know someone who ditched his raptor and got the new ram. It's a sweet truck
It's been good to me. Company I work for bought it for me, so I'm going to drive it until the doors fall off. It's a quad cab 4x4 so it has it benefits...but it sucks ass on gas. Thankfully they pay for that as well, or I likely would have sold it by now and bought something more fuel efficient.

I love cars. LOVE. I had a 2000 E46 and my ex had an 1987 E24, I miss my E46, still look around to see if I can pick another one up. I'm on my 3rd VW, '04 V8 Touareg, have a 4th out back that I'll get going this summer - '78 Beetle

That's a very reasonable vehicle for a new driver imo.
Good on gas, easy & cheap to maintain/work on, etc. And she was thrilled that she even got a car, lol...she wasn't expecting shit.
I too didn't like trucks at first. I live in Texas where there are a lot. I thought they were a waste of gas, until I drove one and used them to transport stuff. Very practical.
Imo cars should have 1 of the following perks-
Fun-Ie fast like sports car or 4wheel drive for offroading
Practical-good gas, can transport a lot of stuff.

This has long been my Dad's car of choice back in Toronto. My friends often joked that it smelled of dirty old gangster! In fact, he's always kept it immaculate! I use it often when I fly back to visit........love this car for cruising down the hwy into the city.

So I wanted to put the biggest/best I could jam in the middle of it, lower it, murder it out with spiked outlaws.
Then throw nitris in it.
