Pros/con's please. I realize I can google this shit but I'm looking for replies from people who actually use the device. The new nexus
I also have the A3 and now S4 as mentioned. A friend has the M8 and loves it, I'm liking the notes but wouldn't mind trying something other than Samsung just to see.Ive had the S3 and use a S4 now. Probably will upgrade to the S6 once it comes out.
Large Note size screen, straight android, no bloatware, just an overall great phone.Pros/con's please. I realize I can google this shit but I'm looking for replies from people who actually use the device.

Soooooo sell my S4 and get a Nexus?I'm replyig to you from one. Preorder and all that jazz. Have had a nexus for a few regenerations and android for 6+ years. I change phones yearly...
I would get a note 4 right now.
Nexus needs a software update. Currently random reboot and battery is about 1-2 hours screen in time less than the note. And Samsung keeps the latest gen screen for themselves so this phone is one gen out.
I love vanilla android but google missed the mark here. But an S4, uninstall what you can and disable the other shit. Enjoy your better resell value.
Next nexus supposed to go back to LG and should be better.

Yes I'm leaning towards that. Any idea how the Experias are? Shite? Things Im looking forDerp note 4 not s4.
Buy a Note 4. Skip this nexus generation.

Great camera
As good as battery life as possible
Screen no smaller than my S4
I use my phone more than a laptop for browsing
Music
Can you tell what the vanilla is all about? I fully agree on screen size too.Only messed with them in the store. Good build quality. Reviews are good. But Note 4 has best battery, best screen, best resell...
I'm not even a Samsung fan at all. SD cards are slow phone technology that is going away and will disappear except for very niche items in 2 years. I change phones every year and have never once needed to change batteries. I prefer vanilla android. Id prefer people to want to buy my nexus thatll be for sale next fall with the next release....I'm still saying to pass and get the Note 4. Also big screen is amazing and.you'll never go back one you switch bigger.
Most likely true, but I still rely on external storage for my music collection so I can have it wherever I go. I think the idea with the Nexus 6 is to leave out the microSD in lieu of cloud-based streaming, which isn't a bad idea on paper, but data overages are way costly and there is no reliable way to mount a simple SMB share to android phones. Maybe one day...SD cards are slow phone technology that is going away and will disappear except for very niche items in 2 years.
Battery life is the thing that I can't stand about Apple products.I'm quite a fan of LG devices. I have a few and they're always easy to root and work with. Battery life on the latest devices is amazing - I lose about 10% over night on my G3S
I just came here for a better look at your avatar, BirdWatcher.
I'm super impressed at how fast the Note 4 charges and it keeps going for a long time. I use my phone for probably 85% of all my internet use so the battery and big screen are great to have.I'm quite a fan of LG devices. I have a few and they're always easy to root and work with.
