The e&c/hardys/dudley rivalry is the best in history for sure.

Those matches only compete with themselves for best tag match in history

I remember enjoying pro-wrestling like nobody's business, then, one day we were watching some wwf event with the undertaker vs yokozuna (coffin match). It was then that I thought "this is retarded."
But whoever said Ricky the Dragon Steamboat is correct.

In the eloquent prose of the great philosopher, Homer Simpson, "Scooby Do could Doo Doo, but Jimmy Carter was smarter."

All the old timers say he is the best, and he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated, so I am gonna agree

The one wrassler that comes to mind that had the entire package(charisma, ring skill and could sell it)

Ricky Steamboat
Flair had all of those things too and was a bigger star for longer

Huge Steamboat fan though but I am shocked at the non mentions of Flair in this shit. BLASPHEMY

TLC matches between the Hardys and the Dudleys is one of favourite memories of pro wrestling, along with Brett Hart.

I met this guy when I was like 7....nicest mofo ever....and was pretty happy to see 3 youngin's drop what they were doing and instantly run screaming bull dog.

Class act and made me an even bigger wrestling fan as a kid....he was with his wife walking in the park.

I haven't watched wrestling in a long time but these two were and always will be my favourite.

Greatest heel: Eddie Guerrero

Greatest Face: The Rock

Always love Angle as a heel and hated him as a face. As a face he kicked out of four Stunners that makes Super Cena look weak. When he was cowardly heel though nobody could touch him except Eddie and that was just because of his upbringing and experience.

I always thought as far as heels went nobody drew heat the way late 80's Rick Rude did.

Best heel reaction is Cena vs rvd at one night stand 2007. Fucking shit show of wrestling but I've never seen a whole arena against a person like that.

Ecw hates John Cena that's for sure. Funny shit and good on John for not melting down and keeping somewhat in line and embracing it

I think there should be different categories. Obviously guys Like Hodge, Thesz and Gotch are legends, but I didn't get to see them in their prime.

For me, this is how it goes:

Best Pure Wrestler - Chris Benoit (speed, power, aerial, chain-wrestling; he could do it all)
Best Promo - Ric Flair (the Natureboy, Wooooo!)
Best Japanese Wrestler - The Great Muta (the first and best Japanese cross-over star)
Best Mexican Wrestler - Psicosis (he did stuff that I didn't think could be done!)
Best Gimmick - The Undertaker (it was cool back in the day and still is today)
Best Babyface - Hulk Hogan (training, sayin' your prayers and eating your vitamins, oh and steroids, lots of steroids)
Best Heel - Roddy Piper (Piper's Pit, and also watching him cheat his way to the top with "Ace" made me an angry young lad!)
Best Monster Heel - King Kong Brody (he'd light up a territory, get massive heat and put the face over in record time)
Best Tweener - Stone Cold Steve Austin (it wasn't really a thing until he made it a thing and regardless of your status, if Stone Cold threw you a beer, you knew that he was doing you a huge favour!)
Best Franchise Player - Sting (he held the company together through many a dark day well before the Monday Night Wars)
Best Tag Team - The Road Warriors (not the best wrestlers, but they had great a great look, even better promos and made no-selling look justified)
Best Manager - Bobby "The Brain" Heenan (was always there to put over the talent and not himself, just like a manger should do)
Best Commentator - Jesse "The Body" Ventura (a great heel commentator and could easily keep up with anyone)
