so getting into a pissing contest with some noob on how much sports you watch is going to make this debate any better or more engaging? should I be coming back with how many sports I watch?

tell me, what in that mess of text you call an "argument" would you call meaningful?
I'll give you an example. Being a stone mason will make it easier to understand brick laying, that's a fairly obvious statement ye? Well spending a lifetime obsessed with all sports, makes it easier to understand a new one, ergo your earlier new fan jibe is shaky at best. Also I do apologise for my awkward use of language I'm aware of it but sometimes don't take the time to clarify.

okay so you do want to talk nonsense lol. I never though WATCHING a sport made you some guru.

I have been doing BJJ for 5 years on and off (took 2 years off in between)

I played soccer from ages 5 - 20. I played competitively. I was playing alongside Owen Hargraves before he moved to england. I chose to do engineering instead of soccer for a full time career as it would probably pay off better. (chances of getting good money from soccer in north america was non-existant unless you were the top of the pool)

I watch NBA EVERY NIGHT. literally every night. last night I watched 2 games...neither had a team I cheer for.

I had season tickets to the CFL team in my old city for 13 years.

I play baseball, and have for the last 10 years. I also watch too much baseball with my wife

I watch MMA and have for the last 12 years. been to 14 live UFC's.

I go to march madness and have for the last 6 years. its a custom my wife and I do.

so again....tell me how your sporting knowledge helps you in any terms???? but my sporting knowledge doesnt help me????

If you can't see the correlation between understanding one type of athleticism and understanding another I don't know what to tell you. No hard feelings but good luck enjoy you're evening.

He went to Germany and then to England.

But I am impressed...Would love to have a kick about one day...I played with Jamie Carragher (Liverpool) Alan Rogers (Nottingham forest Captain) For my town...Before I started smoking marijuana and drinking and thinking I was Pablo fucking Escobar.

I regret nothing.

I didn't see the argument over a sweep. Lol.

Yes he was swept. Classic X Guard sweep. Let's not pretend it didn't happen.
It worked because he prevented Nate's defense by grabbing his right ankle so he could not base out. = sweep.

Q @Qat & Sweets @Sweets

no hard feelings guys! its just a move in a fight being debated on the internet.

I may be wrong, you may be wrong. it doesnt matter. we all need to enhance our calm

Nah man, you calling me words that I'm the farthest from and stuff, don't like it and won't forget it. Lame tactics I don't respect.
Have a respectful debate like Sweets and I did, and we can talk. I think I tried with you. So whatever. It's over.

Psychotropic Wanderlust @Psychotropic Wanderlust I'm not the one calling it a sweep that was luke thomas on the monday morning analyst.
+ Rener + Firas. 3 already. And we didn't even try. Not that it matters really what its called.

I didn't say it was just me, anyone who watches or coaches multiple sports with keen interest is in a very good position to get a decent working knowledge of another. I've been obsessed for three years for instance I watched that Monday morning analyst twice, it will be on in the background several more times this week same with 5 rounds today, heavy hands, all of them.

The only reason I mention any of this is because you tried attacking my point by casting noob assertions, a demonstrably unsound proposition.

First of all, and I say this like the 10th time now, I don't care how you call it. Don't pretend that I do. How is it a respectful conversation if you don't even care about what my stance is?
I have the clear feeling that you don't even know who says what here, and you just mix everyone that is arguing 'against' you together. That is your problem though, not mine.

Second of all, its not respectful to call me names that clearly I am not. So you are wrong again about your respectful conversation.

I am sorry I called you a noob. but you are. and that's okay. proving you watch other sports obsessively doesnt make you less of a noob though my friend.

Why am I still here? Because you tagged me and brought me back.

And we did argue about related things.
But yeah, it was pretty clear that it leads to nothing at some point, I stopped then as well.

And sure, rainbow me all you want. Don't cry that I won't accept your 'its all good'-thingy. Its not a big deal.

so is now a good time to remind Sweets @Sweets to change his name to "dey don't tap lyke i tap" . partly because of the ineffective" sweep," but mostly because conor truly has the best tap in the history of the UFC.

thanks jason73 @jason73 for the idea. :)
