Replace laws with system of justice. Maybe they were counting on not getting caught for the murder part?Right but that's not comparing monetary cost. I'm still unsure what laws you're referring to.
yo @Vutulaki , have you seen america's walmart videos? every culture has its hood rats. i try not to judge an entire race based on a few videos.
No, it doesn't make sense. The legal framework seems fine (superficially), it's the shitty culture of money over people.Replace laws with system of justice. Maybe they were counting on not getting caught for the murder part?
In Australia id have to pay less for their treatment too since they're dead but morals aside id be way too worried about getting done for murder to even contemplate saving a quid by reversing over them.
What is it about china's legal framework (if anything ) that encourages people to think that way?
Make sense?
I don't think it's to do with laws.Replace laws with system of justice. Maybe they were counting on not getting caught for the murder part?

Fair enough. No, it doesn't make sense. The legal framework seems fine (superficially), it's the shitty culture of money over people.
I have. Don't know how true it is.Fair enough.
I heard the reason people dont help others in distress there is because the law will hold you accountable to their injuries, im looking it up now, you heard of this? there was talk of it when everyone was questioning why passers by tend not to help people in distress over there when that toddler getting run over video came out.
I had a staff member from Beijing who got upset when people blamed the population being so big when that video came out, she said it was for the above reason. Im searching for info now but that doesnt seem like a sound legal system even superficially.
I don't know for sure but this story sounds like extreme bullshit. What a lame blackmail. Some gutter urchin spreading rumours about me at work? Who gives a fuck? And that threat has nothing to do with hitting the woman with their car. Anyone could make that same threat."Turns out, that woman was from a relatively poor family, with no job. So now, even though the hospital has cleared her to leave, she refuses by blackmailing them - pay me X dollars, or I will spread rumors about you at work.
Who knows how their minds work.I have. Don't know how true it is.

Ok but again, that story isn't a criticism on the law (other than you can't sue, which also sounds made up)Who knows how their minds work.
Yeah I suppose youre right, its the culture, I cant read Chinese so cant really look into the laws over there. You cant blame the everyday Chinese though, a wise man once said Confucius + Chairman Mao no good for a society.Ok but again, that story isn't a criticism on the law (other than you can't sue, which also sounds made up)
Fixed and yes and Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! Are these the same people who believe rhino horns will give them strong African American like boners?
I think it may be where they are from in China. Same goes for India, people in Varanasi bathe in their own shit, Delhi folk shit all over the place but down in say Kerala they are massive clean freaks. Huge populations with a huge amount of diversity I reckon.Haven't seen anything like this yet.
They make a lot of nasty noises when they eat though.
"While media outlets reported on the perceived Chinese apathy in the aftermath of Wang Yue's death, another incident occurred in Hangzhou when a Chinese woman attempted suicide by drowning in a lake, while local Chinese bystanders gathered at the edge of the lake to watch. After noticing that no one was attempting to rescue the woman, a Uruguayan visitor to China named Maria Fernanda Gomez Arregui swam into the water and saved the woman from drowning.[21] Chinese government officials announced that Maria Fernanda would receive a cash reward of 3000 yuan for her heroic display of "traditional Chinese virtues".""You may have heard the stories like Death of Wang Yue - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia where it's apparent Chinese people don't care about those in need on the street.
