The Shoe People, a series about shoes it was an afternoon show if I recall and as shows about shoes go not too bad. As you can tell my memory of this one is a bit shady. I'll be moving onto Canadian( more of them) and American shows soon.

BatFink with his wings like a shield of steel was a popular Cartoon in Britain in the 1980's it had short episodes but they spoofed Batman and Green Hornet well. As a kid I didn't really notice that's what they were doing. At different times it aired on both BBC but I remember it mostly from ITV/TV-AM Wide awake club &Wacaday

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was HUGE over here, the toys, the cartoon, the reading books the whole thing. We loved it. Masters was one of the great classic American imports and I still love it today even the Sci fi series. When my brother was born I visited my Mum in hospital and she said to me (at 3 and a half) "your brother got you a gift" it was a Battlecat toy to go with my He-Man action figure!!! I was over the moon and remember even then thinking how the heck did he get it if he was in my mums belly?! Lol

M.A.S.K. there are whispers of this cartoon from the 80's being made into a movie and quite honestly I'm surprised it hasn't been already. This like He-Man was super popular in the UK especially the incredibly designed toys which rival Transformers for innovation. There's talk of a G.I. Joe crossover movie wise which isn't actually the first time this has happened as there was a Matt Tracker Joe figure. The cartoon mixed family values with military warfare, there was something for everyone, kids could relate to Scott Matt's son and older kids loved the vehicles and main characters, every character had personality they weren't just there. Bruce was one of the first badass Asian characters in animation that I can remember other than Karate Chop in Batfink.

I have very fond memories of watching He-Man when I was younger. Still have some of my toys. Unfortunately my He-Man talking toothbrush isn't. I loved that thing.

For anyone who doesn't know what I'm taking about.

Another huge cartoon in the UK from Japan/America was Transformers, still is today in fact with the movies and various cartoons, comic books and toys. I remember opening the original Optimus Prime toy as a kid on Christmas Day and it was one of the greatest things ever, my Grandad and Dad searched high and low for it as they were selling out fast.

Good stories and you knew where you stood in regards to good vs evil even though the Decepticons had the cooler vehicles lol

Transformers is probably the first cartoon i remember being properly in to.
I can't even talk about the Michael Bay films without getting upset.

Thundercats just like Masters and Transformers was huge over here in the UK in the 80's I remember going into Woolworths in different towns with my parents and always looking for the toy section and it being filled with Thundercats toys, also the television section would often have it playing on the TVs ( might just have been the timing) lol.i still love Thundercats now and own a pair of limited edition Thundercats Converse lol.

The new remade cartoon like theMasters remake was well done and fleshed out the story and wasn't half bad. Especially this episode the Duellist and the drifter it s my favourite of the new ones, which I will link below

Bravestarr was another popular cartoon over here, not on the levels of Masters or Transformers but it was still watched by a LOT of people. I always hoped Dwayne Johnson would play him in a movie but can't see it happening now. The toys were a weird size but they did make the gun which was cool. I loved it and it was almost a buddy cop dynamic with Bravestarr and his partner horse and useless Deputy.

I'll add the intro as the little pilot movie I posted doesn't have it and it's one of the coolest theme tunes ever.

Same goes for Ninja Turtles. I almost threw up in the theatre when the trailer for the new one came on.
