The only credit I will give to Affleck's Batman is the suit. The basic suit worn by him in S vs. B. was a more mobile high tensile strength "cloth" suit which allowed mobility. Then, the fact that he would don other suits for various purposes of battle scenarios, ala vs. Superman and the armored suit. But I digress in my geekiness....LOL.
And you gotta give him some dues for beefing up for the role.

The voice scrambler in the suit was a smart move. I liked this version of the Batmobile too.
I missed this. I didn't particularly care for this Batmobile. For this version of batman, I envisioned a batmobile for the comic book world akin to Keaton's.

This movie ruined Batman for me. Batman doesn't kill, or think of killing. The closest he has come to kill was in Arkham Knight as the Joker was inside him. Hopefully The Killing Joke movie or Suicide Squad sets things right. Don't care about Superman being not portray right, have any of you played Superman 64? That game killed Superman for me.

The Killing Joke will be good. I've always been a fan of Bruce Timm and Warner Bros Animation when it comes to DC stories.
I'm not expecting too much from suicide squad.

I'm thinking Suicide Squad will be more of a humorous type movie, with a lot of action. We will see. But Affleck has his scenes in there as well. I hope he does it JUSTICE.

This is a different take on Batman. Don't let it ruin the character for you. Just go back and read your favourite Batman comics and watch the Animated Series.

I couldn't find anything posted about Deathstroke's involvement in this movie.

For those unaware Joe Manganiello was cast as Deathstroke and will appear in the solo Batman film, currently titled 'The Batman'.

Bale was the worst Batman/Bruce Wayne.
Imo, he was the best Bruce Wayne. From what I understood he was directed to do the voice a la The Animated Series. I've talked to a lot of people who are lukewarm on the Nolan trilogy, and they're always blown away when I let them in on the secret...

They were shitty movies.

The only thing I liked about those movies was they had the Scarecrow as a villain.
Actually I liked Oldman as Commissioner Gordon as well.

I liked a lot of individual things about them, but the stories were just God awful. If Ledger hadn't died those movies wouldn't be held in the same regard. The Dark Knight Rises was one of the laziest movies I've ever seen.

In more recent news, there's a rumour the film has major script issues and Warner Bros aren't concerned enough to fix it.

Ben Affleck's Batman Movie Is a Mess, Says Bret Easton Ellis
Really hoping this is not true. And i agree to some extent on the Nolan trilogy. I know I'm in the minority but begins is my favorite of the three. It was cool see a character i love treated taken seriously on screen. That said Nolan only captured parts of the character of Batman, there was a lot missing.

I agree with you there. I loved Ledger's portrayal of the Joker in the 2nd film, but the movie itself wasn't very good, and his performance certainly wasn't Oscar worthy. The 3rd movie was complete crap.

It's honestly why I'm looking forward to afflecks solo film. Imo he's the perfect Bruce Wayne and unlike the nolan films it was awesome to see Batman actually be a detective and strategist, not just react to everything.

I actually like Affleck as both a director and an actor. I haven't seen Batman vs Superman because it's fucking stupid. I'll probably check out the solo film though.
