Conor tweets he's back on UFC 200

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor says he's back on the UFC 200 mega-card against Nate Diaz.

It looks like UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor is fighting Nate Diaz at UFC 200, after all.

McGregor sent out a Tweet on Monday morning stating he is back on the July card after being pulled by the organization last week for not agreeing to do promotional work leading up to the event.

If true, the re-adding of McGregor to UFC 200 comes after UFC president Dana White clarified several times that the Irishman would not be apart of UFC 200, guaranteed. UFC officials have not confirmed…

If this whole fiasco is indeed genuine then I think it's more than just being a drama queen intentional or not.

When Jones pulled out of 151 ZUFFA pointed the finger at Jon and he stood his ground, some fans turned on him but many others supported him for doing what he felt was right. This will be another high profile fighter using his name to get what he wants and I think that's good, whether you agree on how he's doing it or not is another issue but either way it's one fighter going against the big Corp and if this is true he's "won".

This has to show any other fighter out there that it is possible to say no and if you have enough support from fans and other people on the roster you can make changes. This is just how I'm seeing it and if we are taking it at face value and there's no tin foil hat business going on I like it. Seeing guys like Rory tweet out fighters should support each other is perfect other all the BS that fans like myself bitch about wont change. Imagine if a guy like Conor or Jones just said " Nope, I'm not wearing Reebok again so figure it out".

i just find the timing off it all alittle suspect if he is indeed on the card again, before a PPV he is off and right after he is all of a sudden back on? if so i smell it as a work that never happened

I hear ya, even as a fan I find he can be over the top with his antics but look at the bigger picture. Like it or not he's got the loudest voice in the UFC and if using it to get more money which every fan feel they all deserve then I'm not gonna disect the language he's using. Do what what it takes clowning or not in the eyes of some to earn the most possible and get that trickle down effect going and inspire more fighters to do the same. Any fan who finds themselves habitually critiquing ZUFFA should be applauding McG whether they love or hate him. Again all this is assuming that both parties are being truthful which is a tough thing to have absolute faith in.
