Conor McGregor has NOT been added back to the UFC fight card ... this according to UFC honcho Dana White.

TMZ Sports spoke to White this morning ... who tells us, "It's not true. We haven't talked to Conor or his manager since the press conference. I don't know why he would tweet that."

He adds, "All the media keeps asking me that. I feel like the scene in 'Step Brothers' when they ask if they can build the bunk beds. I don't know how many more times I can say the fight is off or how many more press conferences I can have saying the fight is off for people to believe it's off."

Translation: we have had lots of meetings and are in serious negotiations with Conor and have told him he's back on the card and asked that he not reveal it until we have been able to spin the story to make us look good and then announce his return.

Seeing as how I wanted Conor to fight Frankie next anyway, I give zero fucks.

they are really dragging this act out. Very interesting promoting tactic. This is a smart move and will sell more wolf tickets.

it wasn't a good fight to begin with, move on and get GSP vs Lawler or Lawler vs Condit 2.

If this fight does happen. How many times are we going to hear "...ever in ufc history" claims?

This is my take. I think Conor is doing this because he knows that if Nate gets into it with him during these events he will get owned. He talked and talked and talked and generally he backed it up so he just continued to talk until "on a holiday Nate" shut him up. What ammo can he use at these marketing events? He got his ass handed to him. I think this is his way of getting paid and getting away with having to do press where he would look like a clown.

He will fight at UFC 200 against Nate, Zuffa and Conor both know it, this is all a ploy to still market the fight but not make Conor look like a fool at these media events.
