Your amended thread title is too confusing. And it should also be AND McGregor wont get his 10 million dollar guarantee. the UFC is gonna be ok, this isnt gonna set them back at all.
Your original post said 1.2-1.5 million without McGregor. I'll take that bet if the card remains as it is now, i.e. no late GSP additions. I'm very attached to my sig, and I do believe 200 will do at least 800,000, so I have to hedge my bets.So confident that you would do a week sig bet?
If it does under a 1mil you win. If it does over 1mil i win. What do you think? A sig bet just for funs.
At least quote me correct, here's what I said. "I could see that card doing 1.2 - 1.4 mil. Conor looking super desperate now. This must why Conor didn't wanna do Press at Stockton and Vegas."Your original post said 1.2-1.5 million without McGregor.
It's fine if you don't wanna do sig bet, it's cool bud.I'll take that bet if the card remains as it is now, i.e. no late GSP additions. I'm very attached to my sig, and I do believe 200 will do at least 800,000, so I have to hedge my bets.
First of all, my bad on incorrectly quoting you. Secondly, I'll take the bet if you want to go with 1.2 million to 1.4 million pay per views. Even if there's no bet, I still encourage you to bump this thread after the fact if I'm wrong. At least quote me correct, here's what I said. "I could see that card doing 1.2 - 1.4 mil. I used the word "could" where I think it could do X amount of PPV's. You used the word "wont" Which makes it sound like it's a certainty, like an assured fact. Which in theory you should be 100% confident.
Here's your quote...
"UFC 200 won't break a million."
It's fine if you don't wanna do sig bet, it's cool bud.
I'd be surprised if it does a million, honestly.
How about we meet in the middle at 1.1Mil?? Yay or nay before Helwani totally jumps on this bet.First of all, my bad on incorrectly quoting you. I'll let Helwani have this one. Something about betting on the UFC to fail sort of reminds me of Christian Bale's character in "The Big Short".How about we meet in the middle at 1.1Mil?? Yay or nay before Helwani totally jumps on this bet.
Yup, also they have been promoting UFC 200 since like 2 months ago. Now they're putting a huge infomercial on Good morning America. ESPN will be promoting this too again and UFC 200 almost sells itself. The guys thinking this won't break one million are severely underestimating the casual fan awareness of Nate Diaz after making a name off Conor (as ironic as that sounds). Conor was an ESPN machine, a sizeable number of those joe bro sports fans are coming aboard when they hear he's on the card. Now combine that with the latin fan and former UFC champ (Cain), the black fan (two champs DC/Jones), and the tits 'n ass fan (Miesha/Nunes), and you have a very safe demographic mix to squeeze 1 mil easy.
Seems a bit myopic, man. Both parties come out of this worse for wear imo.The UFC still wins by not paying him 10 mil. He sure is barking pretty loud to get on that card for anguy that has supposedly made all his money already. He knows that kind of money will never be on the table for him again.
Who jumped the shark and who is conducting business as usual? The UFC basically ignoring his pleas and threats has relegated him persona non grata. Millionaires will never win a pissing contest over money with billionaires.Seems a bit myopic, man. Both parties come out of this worse for wear imo.
Well I'm about to vehemently disagree with the perspective you've offered so....nothing personal:Who jumped the shark and who is conducting business as usual? Are they still having UFC 200?Well I'm about to vehemently disagree with the perspective you've offered so....nothing personal:

Yes we have all heard that one douche bag guy reprimanding Connor like it's some kind of astute insight- spare us (seriously that guy is as lame as a high school dork drinking dr. pepper).
Why does it have to be a pissing contest? I mean why put it in those terms?
I suspect the contractual agreement is to do "reasonable media obligations" or something to that effect i.e. not clearly defined media obligations then he knows that once he does one interview, he's gonna get bombarded with non-stop requests/demands to do 30 more. And the people who get paid to harass/request/plead/demand interviews and sound bites are exactly like you imagine they are- useless cunts. Now if I'm wrong on my suspicions then Internet victory is yours my friend.
"business as usual"
That may equate to "earning less than they would have agreed to pay McGregor." We'll see.
Have you seen that lame-ass shadow boxing promotion they did for some lame talk show? That's business as usual.
Thank you for agreeing.Sure both parties lost money
I honestly don't know if that's what this comes down to. It may well be what it appears to be: Connor knows if he agrees to a non-definite amount of promo then he'll get diced by the other edge of the sword. The Fertitas have more fuck you money than he does. Thatsbwhat this really comes down to.
Just saw that too. After her fight with Rose I wouldn't blame her if she wanted to get back to dancing or anything that pay besides fighting.I just read PVZ isn't gonna fight at ufc 200. Shes too busy dancing to focus on training.
That's the real reason the ppv#s will be down...
Paige VanZant no longer part of UFC 200 plans
what data source will you use?Ill put $50 on it not breaking a million buys.
Only stipulation being that Conor or GSP arent added
