TMZ is reporting that things did not go well between Dana White and Nate Diaz when they met to discuss a rematch with Conor McGregor.

If you believe TMZ, things weren't all peachy between UFC president Dana White and lightweight fighter Nate Diaz today. The celebrity news site reported that White flew up to Stockton to meet Diaz in regards to a rematch with Conor McGregor. This was after he met with McGregor last night, where they seemed to iron out their differences.

According to the report, White and Diaz were in good spirits when they meet up outside a tavern (as you can see in the video). But things went sideways while they were inside discussing things, and White abruptly ended the meeting and walked out to his waiting SUV.

He won the fight and has become a fan favorite. Even more so than before. From his post fight to his 200 media quotes. He has been perfect.

With that said, he won't and shouldn't get paid more than Conor. Conor has the love of some and the complete "Floyd esq" hate from others.

The fact is people are buying the PPV to watch Conor kick ass or to get his ass kicked. Don't agree? Conor vs Mendes did just over 1 million PPV buys. Does Nate vs ANYONE, outside of maybe GSP get close to that? No.

I can give you $50m (+ppv points) reasons Conor can play big dick with the ufc. Nate knows conor only wants the rematch at this point, and the ufc has to give conor what conor wants, therefore there is more money on the table for nate (who was fighting for 20/20 two fights ago). Ufc is also attempting to sell for a ridiculous sum, but jon jones' last fight did something around 375k ppvs, so they certainly need a bit more to boost or at least justify the price.

Nate should hold out for whatever he wants, middle fingers extended. He's been getting raped for way too long.

I don't think you understand why people get paid at the upper echelons of this sport. It's not on performances, wins, losses, but on interest and drawing power. Nate deserves a lot more than what he is getting, but people are kidding themselves if they think he draws more interest than McGregor.

I don't think you're correct on this. Generally speaking, MMA fans are fascinated with the Diaz brothers. The win over McGregor pushed interest in Nate even higher. Maybe non-hardcore fans are more interested in McGregor though, not sure.
