Lol, I know, I get it, I write a lot. Everyone tells me all the time so I'm trying to shorten my posts. I don't mean to clog up/ruin threads. I just have a lot to say I guess. None of my friends give a single fuck about fights, at all, so I have no one to talk about it with ya know. Sucks being so passionate about something and you know nobody who cares even a fraction as much.
One liners get old as well, and I have a tendency to do that. So having folks like you, that give well thought out, detailed & informative posts, is what helps balance this place out (and grow). We need it, so keep on keepin' on.

I know, but it does get lame to constantly type out stuff and know that nobody reads it and thinks you're a crazy person. Which I am anyway, but still. Just feel like I could talk MMA all day from the second I wake up til the second I go to sleep. It's all I think about (along with boxing, other combat sports, music, and Greek girls)

Plus, don't wanna be a thread killer with big blocks of text

If you've got that passion, where else better to express it, than a forum, right? Every single person may not read it, but there's people here that don't know the history of the sport as well as others. If your posts educate some, then it's worth it (in my opinion).

Lol I know man, don't worry. I was serious tho, I legit don't wanna write that much anymore. Sometimes on certain subjects I can't help it tho.
If you tone it down here that's your call. I really think you should chase down those writing opportunities Wild @I Wild Each It and somebody else told you about though, you'd kill it.

Yeah man, I really want to, I just don't know if I can commit at this point in my life due to outside factors. I would really hate to say yes to something like that and fuck it all up. Hard to explain, too much to write on here. But man it would be great to do something like that, I just know that I may not be able and don't want to ruin my nonexistent reputation at an early point.

Also.. by "erotmg".. did you mean to type writing? Haha. Took me a bit to figure that one out : p

Connor McGregor is my favorite fighter today. He trains hard and it pays off for him in the ring and out. He shows no mercy for his opponent's and is a truly entertaining guy. Love his accent and the pride he has for his country and himself. He is the total image of self confidence I wish to some day be at. He is a inspiration with his record alone and one day, I'll come on the woman's scene and I hope I can make a great as an impact on the sport as he has. Fast hands!

That's what we're here for isn't it? To help educate new fans, new members on the history of the sport. I spoke to domin8 @domin8 on Twitter and invited her here, because she seems passionate about getting into training & fighting and learning about the sport from people like us. Everyone's gotta start somewhere :)

Randy Couture is my favorite MMA fighter. He was the first or amongst the first to use Dirty Boxing for MMA! The attached striking was awesome aka "Fibbing" as the old-time Pugilists called it. His Clinchwork created the blueprint for other wrestlers/fighters.

It also helped that he was an 'old man' and I'm close to his age and here he is - competing in the upper echelons of MMA. Inspirational!

One of my favorite MMA moments. Zero disrespect to Tim but the back story leading up to this with all the age talk and so on made that opening sequence fucking incredible.

When I really think of it, I'd say Ben Askren, even though I'm from Ireland I ain't one to jump on the McGregor train. I think I rather argubly the best welterweight in the world at the moment and he hasn't even been signed by the UFC. The guy is a serious fighter and well rounded fighter. The dissapointment of missing his Q&A here is sickening! Hope for an interview with him some day the guy's a legend! He shows us all that there is fighters outside the UFC that are the best in the world he also attracts people away from UFC too. He is my favourite for sure, no messing about with that guy.
