Well.... that's beyond refreshing to see.

If more mma athletes realize how much of the power they actually have in the UFC/how little the company has without them and start making their voices heard they can make a big start to make a big difference in the sport.

Norman Parke's tweet I saw was basically "Fighters should shut up about sponsors and fight"

Essentially marking himself as the Samuel Jackson in Django of the UFC.

Economist Paul Gift at BloodyElbow did a great job breaking down the numbers based on past events to help us understand how this will likely play out.

BE Analytics: Breaking down the money in the Reebok sponsorship tiers - Bloody Elbow

It's not pretty. Things like this are why other sports eventually formed players associations. Can you think of other major sports with a uniform deal in place where the athletes had no say in how the money is broken down?

Nope and I hope this bites Zuffa in the ass bigger than anyone can possibly imagine. The way they conduct business has disgusted me for years.

I'm late to the game, but reviewing some info on the web:

Dana White on Myles Jury’s Reebok issue: ‘We’ll make it right’ - Bloody Elbow
Vitor Belfort on his pay: 'I earn more than I need and less than I deserve' - Bloody Elbow

View: https://twitter.com/FuryJury/status/594232016851177472

Dana on Jury:
"Before we did the deal with Reebok, [Jury] was talking to Reebok," White said. "We are going to make it right. We gotta fix it. So we're going to get together with Reebok, we're going to get together with Myles and we're going to fix it. But yeah, he can't go out trashing Reebok, but he did have a personal falling out with them. It did happen. I'm going to have to manage it and fix it."
Vitor:
"One day my son asked me how much money I made. I thought about it and told him I earn more than I need and less than I deserve" He told Combate. "And that's how I see it. More than I need and way less than I deserve. I believe in it, that's how I see how much I'm worth. That's life no matter if you agree with it or not. The important thing is to honor your work and do it as if you earned more than what you do. I always tell my son that if he works hard and gives his best, someday he'll be noticed. That's how I think."
Bunch of pros:

This was a great read. Also found this super interesting in the comments:

c)And if the Reebok deal really is $70 million, then what should have been the values of the money tiers inorder to use all the deal?

3. If we want an annual pace to get to $70 million, ignoring side deals, using my 6.44 million 2015 estimate, each tiered payment would need to increase by a little more than 81%.
