Hi everyone, I've just booked my first driving lesson for thursday afternoon next week. You should have heard the guys voice when i told him that i have paranoid schizophrenia. he was shitting himself. but then when i told him that i have been relapse free for five years, he seemed to calm down a bit.

Also i once drove tractors around a farm for two days (tractor driving for beginners certificate), plus i have completed forza horizon two, on manual gears, so i'm sure i will take to it like a dream?!?

driving is pretty easy on automatic , you might need to take the class twice if you are learning this late it will probably take you two tries to pass the drivers test assuming you are in the u.s

i'm learning in a manual to get the right habits, and i am antipating needing 35-45 hours of wheel time before taking my test?

it's good to learn both. manual isn't too necessary in he u.s I haven't driven a stick since 2007 literally not figuratively.

urban. derby inner city, it's a small city, with the occasional jam, but not too bad. the only reason i didn't learn earlier is because i was banned because of my mental health condition. i have been able to have that overturned now though?!

Severe acute and chronic paranoid schizophrenia, i've not had a relapse in 5 years though, and my consultant psychiatrist even wrote a report saying that i am fit to learn how to drive, so it should be okay, if i am careful/slow!

What kind of car do you have at your disposal, and what kind of vehicle are you training on?
Have you been studying driving laws?

i don't know what kind of vehicle i am having for my first lesson. this instructor pulled out, so i have booked another one.....

Do you have traffic laws pretty good?
Do you feel comfortable with any vehicles you've trained with so far?
