Just annoyed at getting attitude from some stranger for not being willing to spend my time for his benefit.

I love to discuss cannabis, but being quizzed by some dude who contributes nothing himself is not a discussion.

As mentioned earlier, the questions started a week or two back, and I responded. In one fairly long post I mentioned that I was vegging PPP but hadn't harvested any yet so couldn't give any more info. He quoted my post and asked how the PPP was smoking.

I am far from thinking I have learned more than a tiny fraction of what there is to learn. I am very much a beginner and I never claim otherwise.

Anyone tried a parachute hooter or gravity bong? That shit will fuck you up.

We used to do something with a tub of water and a bowl attached to the cap of a cut off 2 liter bottle. I don't know if it had a name.

We'd submerge the bottle so only the top was out, light the bowl and then slowly raise the bottle. The suction would draw on the bowl and fill the bottle with smoke. When ready, remove the cap/bowl, put your mouth on the opening and push down the bottle into the water. You'd get a huge toke forced into your lungs.

...And then there were wall tokes. Dumb shit that was.

I ended up inventing 'hammock tokes'. Same deal, but when you saw buddy's eyes roll back from the hit, you'd pull the hammock horizontal and get him swinging.

So every Sunday in Modesto they hold a "Shatter Shot Session". I have heard of it but have never been there. I guess all the local vendors get together in a hall and ita like an open market. Lots of samples and people smoking. Next Sunday is the Cup. Its a small one, 20 competitors.

I'm going to the SSS tonight and I will be picking up a Judge pack for next Sundays ShatterShot Session Cup. I'm not sure what goodies come in the Judge pack but thought it would be cool to post the contents and the experience here.

A bunch of different types and strains of wax, some distillate and CBD crystaline. Some really hi end stuff, some not so hi end. I have a few friends coming over and all 4 of us will take a dab of each one and then grade the entry # with the provided questionnaire for each item.

The judge pack also contained 14 edibles that were entered into the contest (that I gave away) a ti dab tool, magazine, CD, pins and a couple other small items.


I wont know the strain name or what company submitted what entry until next Sunday.

When he came to everyone would be either:
a) just straight up ignoring him as long as we could and making it like no one even acknowledged his existence.

or

b) we would all pretend his body was still laying there limp. Someone would panic and leave to go call an ambulance... (this was pre cell phones cuz Im old as dirt)

What did that cost you

$150. I gave the edibles and most the flower away. It took about an hour to run through them all. All of them were great with 88, 20 and 33 being the best. Ill try to get a pic of #20.

Just picked up another 300w LED for my girls. I found a refurb on amazon for $100 less that I paid for the first one. Damn, it's getting bright in the flower tent after adding the new one to the 400W COB. I'm going away for the weekend, so I'm hoping to see some significant gains by the time I get home.

Should have 2 or 3 plants coming down in the next week and I'm still dialing in my dry/cure game, so any tips are welcome.

I hope you score some decent grass, makes a vacation that much better.

We (the miss and I) go down to the Bahamas a lot and it's always brick weed full of stems and seeds, much poorer quality... But that might just be due to the small size of the islands.

This run was a bunch of autos that I filled the space with while getting some good photoperiod plants established. There's a decent Northern Lights, an AutoMazar and a Candy Cane due for the chop soon. The Candy Cane is the last of my Crop King genetics and I won't bother to get more. CKS has been the least impressive breeder I've bought from, and the Candy Cane was an oversensitive diva, very nute and PH sensitive. These 3 were all in one gallon cloth pots, so they didn't get as big as they could have, but should still give a decent little harvest.

There's some more autos a few weeks behind that I'm looking forward to. They are in 2 and 3 gal pots, so are significantly bigger. A second AutoMazar that is a completely different pheno from the first is looking amazing. The first is quite indica looking while the second is all sativa in appearance. There's also an auto White Widow that I topped and trained and looks to be filling out really nicely as well as one more NL.

I'll see about getting some pics up soon, time permitting.

Ive been dabbing this every morning. Im not sure if it is helping with anything. Anyhow, if you wondered what pure CBD crystalline looks like, here is a picture. It dabs just like any other concentrate and has a very strong cherry taste.
