I've recently started getting seeds from a new guy. After getting Crop King from local head shops, Nirvana from Holland and Seedsman out of the UK with decent results, my new hookup is PeakSeedsBC (NOT PeakSeeds. PeakSeeds is a ripoff artist that scooped up the domain name).

He's a small breeder that specializes in a small number of strains, only sells regular seeds(no fem or auto), and has great prices and reputation. I've got a Northern Lights x Blueberry strain that I can't wait to get going, when I have room in the grow box.

I've currently got 00 Seeds Northern Lights and a Seedsman White Widow, both photo fems, curing in the jar. I'll get to sample a little of the final product before drying out for the spring shutdowns. Oy vey, what a life!

Slactavis 4oz. Syrup 1500mg THC
3 cali gold chocolate bars. 1 at 250mg and 2 125mg THC each. 2 bag of beef jerkey 400mg THC each. 3x TKO Jelly Kushy Punches 200mg total THC each. Not sure what to start with.

Back to living vicariously though you lucky fuckers who get to smoke year round.

I'm about 4 days or so into drying out. So far so good, I haven't been too bitchy and no insomnia yet. My least favorite part is what I've just learned is called REM Rebound. If you've ever dried out after a long time, your dreams tend to come back incredibly intense and for me, often quite fucked up. I've got that to look forward to as well. :(

I've lost about 25 pounds since fall, so with a lot less fat to store metabolites the dryout should be a lot quicker. I'm aiming to be clean in plenty of time to go back to work in early March. In the meantime, I tend my plants and dream of summer.

The plants are doing great. I've been training and topping photo period plants and even abusing the shit out of my autoflowers. I have my lights a lot closer than most recommend and pretty much everything is thriving. It's so much fun doing the hands-on learning after so much reading and research, and seeing my efforts rewarded.

I had decent luck with Nirvana, they even replaced an order that got seized by customs with no problems. They pissed me off though, when on my 3rd or 4th order, to the same address with the same CC, they decided they needed me to verify my CC by sending them a photo or some such shit(this was last summer). I told them to piss up a rope and started using Seedsman, who sell Nirvana and just about every other major seedbank.

I've harvested Nirvana's Northern Lights photo fem and auto, and have my last two NL autos in flower right now. I've learned so much since the first ones that these last two are way bigger and healthier and should provide a decent harvest. The first couple were great smoke, but due to my incompetence, not great yielders.
I have also harvested White Widow, auto and photo fem, from Nirvana. Again, great smoke with room to improve yields as I get dialed in. I have a WW auto in flower right now that I'm not sure about. It is super stretchy, with big space between nodes. I topped it to try and slow the stretch, but it keeps growing. It may still fill in, or I may chop her so some of the bushier plants can take over that space.

Like you, I liked what I heard about Pure Power Plant. I started one in with the autos(I don't know why, it was dumb but I was having too much fun) and it looked great: fast growth, tight internodes, good side growth. I kind of fucked up topping it and made it more of a FIM. It took a few days to start growing again and became a mutant beast with about 8 tops. Unfortunately, I can't give much more information right now. Because my main box is full of autos for about 4 more weeks and the PPP was threatening to take over the space, I moved it to a different grow space under low power LED bulbs to chill until I can flower her in the main box. I'll update when I have something to add.

I just found out that Mike J at PSBC has his latest crop of Cinderella 99 beans ready to go, so I'm all over that shit. If you haven't heard of Cindy, look her up. She's considered one of the legendary sativas and I can't wait to try her.
I also ordered some of his Blueberry. I'm not sure if my skills are up to this very finicky strain, but I'm looking forward to the challenge.

The only problem I've found so far with growing is I don't think I'll live long enough to try everything I want to try. :) I've probably got enough seeds and ideas to keep me busy for years, and that's without doing any crosses or using G3 to get feminized and/or auto seeds.

My Sweet Island Skunk x Cinderella 99 cross finally showed gender today, nearly 2 weeks after switching to 12/12. I've never had a plant take so long to start flowering, but I'm thrilled to say 'it's a girl!' And she's healthy and throwing out tons of new bud sites.:D I'm really looking forward to this strain.

I took a clone and hopefully I can get it to root and reveg, but if not, the Pure Power Plant is providing some nice clones too. As soon as some of the autos get chopped in a few weeks, it's Sativa City. By the time they're ready to chop, it's Blueberry and Cindy99, and then I can't wait to try...................
