Russell Crowe won an Oscar for best lead actor in Gladiator when he wasn't even the best actor in that movie - Joaquin Phoenix was.

I'm not saying take Crowe's Oscar away (though his performance didn't blow me away), but how Phoenix didn't win best supporting actor for that performance is mind-boggling.

and Tom Cruise, who I dislike, should have gotten every award possible for Tropic Thunder. I had heard they were making a spinoff based entirely off of the Les Grossman character. I wish that would have happened.

While DiCaprio probably deserved an Oscar he didn't deserve one for the revenant. While that movie was visually stunning, the story, pacing, and acting were meh....

Even more egregious that year was Stallone not winning for Creed.

I'll give him a pass. He worked his ass off in that film and put himself through all sorts of hell. Shit he ate a raw buffalo heart and endured frigid waters,but Tom Hardy was the better actor in that film.

Zero Dark Thrity - Did Not Win.
