Multivitamin, potassium, branched chain amino acid, and just started taking DHEA about two weeks ago.... and of course the standard whey protein powder.
Alrigt so you sound stimulant free for sups. How much coffee a day do you drink?
I wasnt joking about using the mass gainer. For a guy like me it could be a disaster. But because your lean so it could really help you. (And I kind of hate you for that haha) Your prob taking low carb low calorie whey protien. Like most of us. But you may benefit from the Mass or "weight gainer" type protein blends. That have higher carbs and calories. Its something worth looking into. Wouldnt be any crazy Change to what your already doing.

Any other changes you noticed apart from body fat going up?
I think it must be stress in your life after your mom passed away. I say give it time everything will be back to normal.

I gained some weight over the last couple of weeks. My mom passed away and I let my diet go to shit and while I did my weight lifting I skipped most of my cardio. So I decided to roll with it and add some weight.

For the last two weeks I am skipped most of my cardio (a couple fast walks/slow jogs is most I have done, ate like crap (no sweets or anything like that but eating stuff like pizza and burgers) and just lifted weights.

The problem is my weight is slowly going DOWN while my bodyfat shoots up.

I realize that the best way to do this would to still eat clean and just eat much more but I dont understand why I am losing weight.

Not sure if I am looking for advice or just venting.
Sorry to hear about your mom.

I have no problem gaining weight, give me a ring and I'll let you in on my secret

Before I changed my routine about a month ago I was doing weight lifting monday, wednesday and fridays, DDP yoga tuesday and thursday (low impact high cardio), saturday I would do a body weight workout (push ups, pull ups, dips and situps) and take sundays off.

A month ago I dropped the yoga because the routines included a fair amount of upper body stuff (push ups, downward dog position, other things) and I figured one of the reasons I was not progressing as much as I would like was because I was not giving my upperbody any rest days. I dropped body weight workouts for the same reason, I switched to fast walk/slow jog on my treadmill for my off days.

When i stopped growing for weeks then i switched from 5 to 3 days and within 2 weeks i started growing again.

Body weight fluctuates.

Weigh yourself once a week, at the same time each week.

I have weighed myself every day for the last 9 months or so. Always at the same time (right after my morning poo when I get up)

here is the last 6 months

I read somewhere to only weigh yourself once a week when trying to gain weight because body weight can fluctuate.

So that's whay I did, and I found myself obsessing over it a lot less.

Of course it made weeks of no gains really disheartening, but I stayed committed to once a week.
