It may be a while though. I don't have much free time for tv/movies these days. I may just buy it on iTunes...I'm more likely to make time to watch if I've spent $

I've got a question about something that annoyed me during this show. Sorry if it has already been addressed.
It's been a couple of months since I finished it so I can't remember her name but the storyline with the brothel host who went rogue kind of ruined a lot for me. I understand that the show isn't gonna be without conflict, but it seems to me that the whole crisis surrounding her could have been averted by turning her off or killing her. They turned all of her attributes up with their tablets and allowed her to control them, and they could have turned the attributes back down or put a bullet in her head and told the superiors that she was going crazy. Those two buffoons just did whatever she said and I know she's powerful but they clearly have the means to control her attributes.
What am I missing here?

Every time they were in the room with her and she started manipulating them I would just have this angry dialogue in my head saying "just fucking turn her off". It almost ruined the show for me.

That's actually an element I have explored- he was falling for her and couldn't make the "she's a robot" switch in his head. He still doesn't want her to be ultra intelligent, though. Doesn't exactly hurt her to turn that shit down a notch.
She patched up sylvestors neck wirh the same heat device they use on hosts lol. I was convinced for awhile that alot of the employees were going to end up being hosts
I don't see felix as having a crush on her as much as he has an admiration from her. He was adjusting the programming of a bird earlier in the season. The concept of creating life fascinated him. And I think he looked at her as sentient, whereas sylvestor looked at her as just a lifelike object
It's a topic that will be explored in greater detail when the hosts break into the real world. After battles and what not. I'm guessing this type of political debate won't happen until the final season or 2. Whats wild is that it may end up being a debate that we have to have in our our lifetime in the real world...as strange as it may seem
