Cute... but inaccurate.

Do you honestly think a govt who is considered right of center would be focusing on women's equality in the work force, growing the middle class, working towards a more diverse cabinet, reconciliation with Canada's First Nations peoples, encouraging multiculturalism and becoming a more compassionate Canada? Sounds like lefty propaganda to me.

The Liberals of years past were right of center but not the Justin Trudeau Liberals.

Well again, in Canadian politics, I dont think so.

Our previous Federal govt refused to move forward on the First Nations issues in our country and flat out refused the inquiry that is now happening. Our previous Federal govt refused to work towards creating equal pay and opportunities for women in the Canadian work force. Our previous govt didnt give a shit about improving the situation for the middle class. Our previous govt was anti marijuana. Our previous govt wasnt working towards ethnic diversity in its cabinet and didnt give a shit about our multicultural society. Our previous govt took away females rights to their bodies..

So no, not usual govt platitudes here in Canada.

Lmao.

Wildly different than elsewhere in the world I'm sure...

Middle class
Women
Diversity
Compassion

I suspect that the opposition would argue that they support all of that...Just not things like Trudeau's quotas.

How's that election reform going?

Well he has already stated he feels Mulcair's plan for marijuana was better and hasnt mentioned voter reform (which JT failed us on).

I gave 4 examples of where I felt he disagreed with the Liberals platform, not just the refugee issue.

And he stated he voted for them to "stop Harper".
And the NDP (although he liked their pot policies) may have veered too far on other policies. As he said, he felt the country needed a change and the Liberals were the least of the day evils.

p.s. there's no PC party at the federal level.

Neither party does a good job at dat doe
Fully agree, but I couldn't help but notice a similarity among the ministers who seemed to have a difficult time doing their jobs last year. Coincidentally they were all moved out of those positions...

I am aware there is no PC party at the Federal level. Jason mentioned the PC's earlier in the thread and I was parroting it back to him in my response.

Shouldn't qualified personnel be the goal of a cabinet?
I wasnt arguing they shouldnt. I was pointing out the fact the Cons didnt give two shits about diversifying their cabinet in my illustration as to how not all political parties make the same promises while running a campaign.

Is that accurate? Trudeau's cabinet is pretty damn white too.
