there's magic in the wall. the night king cant pass it

the night king wouldn't have been able to get into bloodraven's tree sort if bran wasn't marked

so if Bran travels south of the wall, he is giving the night king free pass to get past the magic... seems selfish (granted, bran can see the future)

I don't know if it works the same way, but it might.

Bran might stay north of the wall until the Night King tries to make it past somehow.

The advantage of having Dragons was shown not to be that great in a previous season. Savages with primitive weapons were able to bring one down. That being said, I believe that Jon Snow and the Dragon Queen will find out that they are brother and sister, and all sorts of shenanigans will unfold.
