I had the same reservation before I watched it. It's a smart grown up show, very funny , it's in my top 3 with Archer and south park but is different from both

USA McDonald's need to bring back the big fucking tasty. Best food McDonald's ever had by far. Fuck. Its one of my favorite burgers of all time

Boy, you are in for a treat! One of the Rick and Morty creators, Dan Harmon, also has another show called Harmonquest. It's an animated/improv show where they play a dungeons and dragons style role playing game. Right up your alley. You can find it on Youtube.
