I like GABP. But I'm comparing it to Riverfront Stadium - which was a boring shitbox.

Hopefully you at least got to enjoy The Banks outside the stadium. They do have some nice bars down there.
I walked by amd had a few beers. The city itself wasnt half as shitty as Pittsburgh but the stadium just felt old. Why do all the old men in Cincy look like Kenny Rogers?

Chris Sale recorded career strikeout 1500 last night, becoming the fastest ever to reach that mark. He did it in 1290 innings.

The previous mark was held by Kerry Wood, who did it in 1300 innings.

Sale is 15-6 on the year with a 2.77 ERA. 264 Ks in 185.1 Innings.

Watching now!

Sanchez went yard. Gardy scored on an error lol. Bird is back! And the hits keep coming!

The red sux are playing horrible defense. Also, did they hire Kenny Powers' cousin?

Geez every time I tune into a ball game these days it seems like there's some dyke in the broadcast booth trying to do color commentary that doesn't know a damned thing about baseball. Unwatchable, for me at least. Way to ruin the broadcasts MLB, you assholes.

Yeah, I don't need that..........the other thing that bothers me is the "sideline" reporter in football......when was the last time anything good came from one of them?

Yeah they're awful. Know nothing gals most of the time too these days. It's getting so you can't even watch sports anymore.

I mean, you wouldn't put someone like Jim Brown or Terry Bradshaw on The View would you. It would ruin it for the viewers right?

I'm just looking for basic fairness here.

Stanton is at 52 HRs. He has 26 games to go.

He is well off the pace for the all time record of 73, but as he approaches 61 I suspect we'll get some talk about him becoming the first non-asterisk player to break Maris' total from 1961. There are many historians - and players - that still consider 61 to be the magical mark for HRs in a season.

He's on pace to hit 62.
If he continues his 2nd half pace, he'll get there with ease.

The Boston Red Sox have been busted for using electronic devices in the dugout to steal opponent's signs. Apparently they were using the replay folks at Fenway to read the catchers signals to the pitcher, and they would send the information to a trainer in the dugout who received the information on his Apple watch. The trainer then signaled the information to a Red Sox runner on 2nd base who then relayed it to the batter.

In the game the Yankees discovered the cheating, the Red Sox went 5 for 8 when they had a man on 2nd base.

Red Sox Used Apple Watches to Help Steal Signs Against Yankees

Note : Stealing signs has long been a part of baseball and it isn't illegal. But you can't use electronic devices to do it, and you aren't allowed to use ANY electronic devices in the dugout - which is likely how they got busted. My assumption is that every time the Red Sox got a guy on 2nd base, this trainer suddenly became very interested in what time it was. Pretty obvious.

What do you have to say for yourself Robbie Hart @Robbie Hart?

Of course all of this cheating would be useless if the pitcher didn't lollygag on the mound. Get your sign - throw the fucking pitch.

Can't do this can't do that......everyone cheats in baseball except for big papi when he played.......it's part of the game........get over it hauler.....Cincinnati cheats also, problem is they have inferior players and couldn't even win when they had ken Griffey jr........

In all reality, you know the yankees have probably bugged the dugouts and have been doing much worse for many years.....saddens me to think this

Which makes them better.

Baseball makes me laugh with all of their sign stealing......then the other team gets mad when they think they've caught someone and everyone rushes the field and no punches get thrown but someone always gets injured somehow
