Florida is fucked. If you live there, grab everything you need and want (and your pets) and get the fuck out in the next 48. I'm a bona-fide storm nerd, and I'd be leaving already. I think this makes Harvey look weak. Its going to be a goddamned buzzsaw. Good luck and best wishes to all Floridians.

If it loops up under Florida, then it's time to get worried. Charlie took a similar path in 2004 and sliced right back across the state.
The one in !977 was named for orange juice spokeswoman and former Miss America Anita Bryant. She was unpopular at the time for her stance against gay issues of some sort. This was back when all hurricanes had proper female names, PC changed it just after that time I seem to remember. The storm was a real bitch I recall.

That's exactly how we should name these things.
Of course, like ships right. It was tongue in cheek and the ladies always had a sense of humor about it but I guess you know what happened. Somewhere along the line the humor chip was removed.
