They're both nice cities. Altamonte has the only good mall left in the area.

@BocaPrincess Sanford is becoming the new hot spot... It keeps moving east (downtown Orlando, the park district, Altamonte, now Sanford)... Sanford town center Mall is nice. I'm a Winter Park/Universal/Winter Garden area hopper between work and home, it's gotten super expensive this side of town.
Last time I was at the Sanford mall (7-8 years ago), it was pretty barren.
I went there once a long time ago and remember being impressed with their food court. Kinda figured they were dead now too since all the others are ghost towns.
