Boston has matchups against Baltimore, Cincinnati, Toronto and Houston.
Yankees have matchups against Minnesota, Toronto (6 games), Tampa Bay...plus a single game against Kansas City.
Cubs are back to winning again, so I think they have the Central wrapped up.
Good, we want to earn it as opposed to the spankees who want to back their way in.
Boston = tried and tested
Yankees = entitled and redundant
@Hauler have you gotten used to Bryan Price putting a guy with high OBP at leadoff yet? Weird as it sounds given their record, I think they're only a couple pieces away from being wild card contenders. If they go big for a pitcher, have some more luck in the health for the other starters, & that lineup will be just fine
I don't think Price changed his approach there. Hamilton broke his thumb. If he was still healthy he'd be hitting leadoff.
Stephenson has pitched well of late. I still have my hopes up for Bailey but man he is frustrating. If they can get their starting pitching figured out I actually think they have the position players to win some games. They aren't as far off as their record would indicate.
I'd love it if Cueto opts out & Cincy signs him, Castillo moves to #2 in the rotation, then DeScalfani, Finnegan, & someone will pan out at 5. Might be time to move Bailey to the bullpen & Lorenzen to the rotation.
I hope he keeps Winker at the top, maybe do the thing Madden does where he hits the P 8th & let Billy hit 9th. Winker was made to hit leadoff. Are they going to make an attempt to resign Cozart? A 2 year deal would be great unless some team gets stupid & gives him a longer deal
I'd love Hamilton at 9th. He's too valuable in CF and on the basepaths to bench IMO, but you can't have a dude struggling to hit .250 at leadoff.
I thought Cozart was going to be dealt during this season so I'm actually surprised he's still here.
I'd be SHOCKED if they pony up for Cueto.
The Bailey situation is a mess. Paying him so much money.

I'm hoping you guys don't trade Scooter, let that guy be like Zobrist & get a lot of playing time giving people days off. Duvall's stunk it out since the all star break, he's the one that should be dealt. I heard the Reds' GM on the serius mlb network saying they'll be players in free agency for a #1 pitcher, not sure what exactly that'll mean for a small market team

The Todd Father hit a foul ball into the stands that hit a two year old baby. Some players were brought to tears. It really messed alot of guys up. I didnt watch cuz the Twins cant beat the Yanks EVER. I dont think I will be going to youtube for that one. Horrible thing to happen.

In the past I would have hoped for the worst for them but I would love that to happen as it creates a great atmosphere in the games and I get extremely invested in the series.....
it'll be a lot of fun. ESPN seems to put them on anytime they're playing, its a lot more fun when they're both good. love price coming out of the bullpen, this should be a great postseason
