@Gay for Longo in a PM. The elevated position and the wide area gave off an echo that could be perceived as multiple shooters. It’s how we were ambushed on convoy and took a while to locate the shooter. Now take a bunch of drunk people in Vegas having automatic fire rained down on them and you could see the confusion. You have the snap of the actual round plus the echo from the weapon, so to someone who’s never heard that, it sounds like more than one weapon.
